Permanent Veterinary Surgeon South East London (VETSEEK-1118) We are recruiting for a permanent Veterinary Surgeon to join a practice in South East London. This is either a full or part time role with a 1:3 Weekend rota consisting of Saturday 9am - 6pm and Sunday 11am - 5pm. There is no OOH. This is an established practice located close to central London, London Bridge, and a wide variety of transport links. This is a purpose built modern and spacious practice offering on site parkin. It is fully equipped with the latest technology and offers a wide variety of veterinary services. They see a wide variety of cases which each are distributed evenly offering plenty of opportunities for further development and the practice supports areas of special interest. About the role The practice requires an experienced veterinary surgeon who is competent in routine surgeries and consultations. They must also be confident with emergency surgery. The role would suit a Veterinary Surgeon with an interest in orthopaedics and is looking to move into a position to take the next step in their career. There is the opportunity within this position to move into a lead vet role. They require the vet to have strong communication and customer services skills. The Vet would be ambitious and eager to progress and provide support and contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking. The practice comprise of a large Veterinary team who are friendly and supportive and are dedicated to providing an excellent standard of veterinary care. Areas of special interest along with funding for certificates is provided. You will want to contribute to the practice enabling them to stay at the forefront of clinical thinking whilst also maintaining the ethos of providing a high standard of clinical care to all pets. You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop a great rapport with both clients and staff.
