- Customer solution architecture advice and reviews, conceptual support (e.g. Security, High Availability, Performance, maintainability)
- Technical assistance with SW installation & Configuration, health checks, applying best practices for modern IT environments
- Performance assessments and tuning assistance for Apex based reporting deployments
- Proactive Upgrade and Patch Management advice Implementation planning,
- Advise customers on product evolutions and features, avoidance of predictable issues
- Lead to innovation by Knowledge Transfer, prepare and deliver technical workshops or training, designed to educate customers or peers on technology related updates
- In close collaboration with Oracle Global Customer Support, deliver critical technical support tasks, connected or onsite, e.g. issue reproduction and resolution, testing and validation of fixes, .
- Facilitate root cause analysis for product problems and identify method of resolution
- Provide and verify workarounds or patches
- Resolve complex or previously unknown issues, requiring deep technical expertise and strong interdisciplinary teamwork
- Interact with key customer personnel to enhance collaborative problem solving
- Follow through escalation management as required
- Research and respond to technical inquiries

Affirm national standards have been achieved and upheld
Monitor through external examiner sampling and visit activities, centres' compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations for RQF BTEC Higher National programmes
Support centres during the sampling process
Support centres in the delivery of BTEC Higher National programmes to national standards.

Covering a defined range of programmes within a sector, the External Examiner (EE) will:
Undertake sampling of assessed student work within defined parameters and rules to establish that centres are assessing learning outcomes in accordance with Pearson standards for its Higher National qualifications
Provide sampling-related support and development to centres
Produce reports for centres and Pearson on the sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided
Apply appropriate sanctions in consultation with the team leader where it is deemed assessment outcomes are not consistent with the published national standards being met

- Proven experience in relevant industry that will complement and enhance RAS development
- Experience with Linux and developing real-time software in C/C++ or Python is essential.
- Experience of robotics, machine control systems and automation is desirable.
- A basic understanding of electronics and the ability to read electrical schematics is essential.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience of current software engineering practices for RAS.
