We are seeking an exceptionally skilled and results-oriented Director of DevOps to lead and scale our cloud and automation efforts. This critical leadership role requires an individual who can combine deep technical expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS) with proven leadership in DevOps methodology within a high-growth SaaS environment. The ideal candidate will drive our continuous delivery, site reliability, security, and infrastructure-as-code strategy, ensuring our global translation platform operates with maximum efficiency, scalability, and resilience.
This is a preferred immediate start position, and we are open to candidates based in the UK, Greece, or Poland.
Key Responsibilities- Strategy & Leadership: Define, champion, and execute the company’s DevOps, and cloud roadmap, ensuring it aligns with business objectives for rapid product development and global scale.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of DevOps and Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- AWS Cloud Architecture: Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of our secure, scalable, and cost-efficient infrastructure primarily on AWS. Drive the adoption of advanced AWS services.
- Automation & CI/CD: Instill and enforce Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) principles. Continuously improve and automate our CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable, and frequent software releases.
- Site Reliability: Establish and track key reliability metrics (SLAs, SLOs, SLIs). Oversee monitoring, logging, alerting, incident response, disaster recovery, and capacity planning.
- Security & Compliance (DevSecOps): Integrate security best practices into the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC). Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, SOC 2) critical for an enterprise SaaS company dealing with sensitive client data.
- Cost Optimization (FinOps): Manage cloud spending effectively, identifying and implementing cost-saving measures without compromising performance or reliability.
Requirements
Experience & Leadership- 7+ years of progressive experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE).
- 5+ years of extensive, hands-on experience designing, deploying, and managing complex, high-availability, production workloads on Amazon Web Services (AWS).
- Proven experience in a leadership or management role (e.g., Director, Head of, or Lead) successfully managing and mentoring technical teams.
- Experience working in a SaaS or high-throughput platform environment, preferably one focused on B2B enterprise services, localization, or translation technology.
- AWS Mastery: Deep practical knowledge of core and advanced AWS services, including but not limited to:
- Compute: EC2, EKS (Kubernetes), ECS, Lambda (Serverless).
- Storage & Database: S3, RDS (PostgreSQL, MySQL), DynamoDB.
- Networking & Security: VPC, IAM, Route 53, CloudFront, WAF, Security Hub.
- Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC): Expert-level proficiency with Terraform or AWS CloudFormation for provisioning and managing infrastructure.
- Containerization & Orchestration: Expert-level knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes (EKS), including cluster management, Helm charts, and service mesh concepts.
- CI/CD: Strong experience with modern CI/CD tools (GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Jenkins) and a commitment to GitOps principles.
- Scripting & Automation: Proficiency in at least one relevant scripting language such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Experience with Machine Learning (MLOps) or AI infrastructure and pipelines, given the industry's increasing reliance on AI for translation.
- AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional or AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
- Familiarity with polyglot persistence and database optimization, including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and Redis, which are common in SaaS platforms.
- Experience managing multi-cloud environments (e.g., AWS and GCP), as XTM International uses both.
- Experience with advanced observability tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/Fluentd/Loki, and Datadog.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks highly relevant to sensitive data handling (e.g., HIPAA, PCI DSS).

**In this role you will :**
+ Be dedicated to Cloud & Infrastructure Services for Europe and be responsible for **TCV** ( Total Contract Value) and **Revenue targets**
+ Lead business development and sales and be accountable for identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities.
+ Build mindshare with clients, vertical stakeholders and partner community - Drive thought leadership as well as manage Exec briefings, business reviews
+ Invest time in strengthening existing client relationships - Engage with CXO, VP and Director and key client stakeholders; Participate in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives.

**What you need to have to be considered**
+ Master or Bachelor's degree in information technology, software engineering, computer science
+ Experience in selling large deals in Cloud & Infrastructure services with offshore deliveries for **multi-geo programs** ( UK, Europe)
+ Subject matter expertise across Digital Workplace services; Hybrid cloud solutions; Public cloud on Azure, AWS & GCP; Security Services
+ Proven track record of consistently exceeding corporate objectives and targets with strong techno-commercial skills to structure large complex deals
+ Strong consultative selling background and ability to bring Executive level interactions and relationship management
+ Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
+ A good understanding of the competitive landscape and partner ecosystems and ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer problems
+ At ease developing opportunity pipelines, qualifying high priority deals, and winning

**Your Career**
The role of Consulting Director in Unit 42 is a senior-level consulting position. The individual will be responsible for the day to day delivery of our threat-led and technology driven cyber security consulting services through leading and directly overseeing a team of Consultants. This person will have experience in developing teams and working with sales and domain leaders.
The Consulting Director will work with a dedicated Regional Business Development Manager (BDM) and Customer Success Manager (CSM) to deliver pitches and prepare proposals to win new business and manage client relationships.
We are seeking an individual who is passionate about cyber security and making a difference. You will be a continuous learner and have a sound knowledge of emerging cybersecurity trends and technologies.
The individual serves as a trusted advisor to clients, is dedicated to delivering technical consulting services to an exceptional standard, thrives in a fast paced team environment, and advocates for innovative approaches to deliver the best outcomes for our cross-sector clients.
**Your Impact**
+ Oversee the delivery of our proactive consulting services, ensuring their consistency, quality and highest level of customer service
+ Provide hands-on, expert-level proactive Security Operations Center (SOC) assessment and transformation services to clients and deliver findings to CxO and/or Board of Directors
+ Work with the BDM and CSM to perform pipeline generation activities
+ Lead scoping and services overview conversations with clients for prospective engagements in area of expertise, presenting with credibility and authority, clearly articulating various approaches and methodologies to audiences ranging from highly technical to executive personnel

**Your Experience**
+ 10+ years of hands-on experience delivering a wide range of cybersecurity consulting services, including at least 4 of the following 8 for global enterprise customers
+ Security operations (highly preferred for this position)
+ Application security (including AI)
+ Cloud security
+ Red & purple teaming
+ Cybersecurity risk assessments
+ Cybersecurity strategy & transformations
+ Cyber crisis management
+ Zero Trust
+ Experience as a senior-level team leader including overseeing other principal, senior, and mid-level analyst/consultant teams
+ Able to split your time across commercial support, client delivery, team leadership, individual mentoring, and technical expertise and skills maintenance activities
+ Strong presentation, communication, and presentation skills with verifiable industry experience communicating at CxO and/or Board of Directors level
+ Client services mindset and exceptional client management skills
+ Public speaking experience, demonstrated writing ability, including technical reports, business communication, and thought leadership pieces
+ Bachelor's Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, Digital Forensics, Cyber Security, or equivalent years of professional experience or equivalent relevant experience or equivalent military experience to meet job requirements and expectations
+ Professional industry certifications such as CISSP, CISM, and other leading industry certifications in line with our services portfolio
+ Expert level of knowledge of applicable laws, compliance regulations, and industry standards as it relates to privacy, security, and compliance

- Knowledge of CNAPP, CSPM, CWPP, SSE, and container security technologies.
- Ability to synthesize complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and actionable insights.
- Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality deliverables under tight deadlines.
- Confident communicator with experience delivering presentations to both small and large audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
