**The Team:**
Cloud Partnerships are central to Celonis' growth strategy as we aim to build out our Go-To-Market (GTM) with the major Hyperscalers and leading AI companies. Our Partner Management function is central to our sales and business development strategy as we aim to maximize the value our clients can realize with our technology through our Partner ecosystem. We are hiring for a **_Cloud Partner Director_** to join our team, to focus on developing and managing our Go-To-Market activities with our cloud partners and handle the relationship on a regional level.
**The Role:**
An important part of the role is to ensure strong alignment with the different Celonis Sales teams and regional priorities whilst bringing a strong working knowledge of Hyperscalers coupled with AI capabilities.
**The work you'll do:**
+ Define a holistic GTM plan, manage joint pipeline and related day-to-day activities with regards to cloud and AI partners in UKI and MEA
+ Attract and develop senior relationships with partners to expand into new strategic areas (new Business Units, Service Lines, Industry Verticals).
+ Pitch value proposition of Celonis partnership on all levels (especially comfortable at C-Level) adopting a highly consultative sales and business outcome approach
+ Organise and execute events with and for our partner community in order to drive pipeline and opportunities.
+ Drive technical and sales enablement of partners, orchestrating relevant global ecosystem resources.
+ Act as first point of contact for Celonis and Partner teams in UKI and MEA
+ Work with account teams to identify joint opportunities and ensure progress
+ Activate and enable partner sales teams and leadership teams based on joint value proposition and product integrations
+ Manage and maintain joint pipeline in partner and Celonis CRMs
+ Facilitate and support motions through Marketplace transactions
+ Actively participate in building out the global Cloud GTM
**The qualifications you need:**
+ Minimum 10 years of relevant work experience in the area of partner management, sales or business development, ideally with Microsoft, AWS or Google Cloud
+ A strong network in a Cloud Partner ideally within Microsoft and AWS.
+ Combine the ability to develop a holistic strategy and work on operational day to day tasks to execute that strategy and grow our partnerships

What You'll Do

The Director - Cloud Connectivity is responsible for defining, engineering, and operating BCG's global cloud networking architecture across AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba Cloud. This role ensures consistent, reliable, and secure connectivity for all workloads, services, and users across the multi-cloud landscape. Leveraging SRE principles, automation, and observability, the Cloud Connectivity Director will drive a scalable, self-service-first experience while working closely with the broader network and cloud platform teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cloud Network Strategy & Architecture:
    • Define and maintain the global cloud connectivity strategy spanning AWS, Azure, Google, and Alibaba.
    • Architect scalable and secure interconnects, cloud-to-cloud routing, and hybrid connectivity (on-prem to cloud).
    • Drive standardization of network patterns, segmentation, and routing architectures across all cloud environments.
    • Embed SRE and DevOps principles into cloud network architecture and operations.
  • Engineering, Automation & Self-Service:
    • Lead development of automated network provisioning pipelines using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
    • Enable self-service network setup and changes for application and platform teams.
    • Implement policy-as-code frameworks for routing, firewalling, and access control.
    • Partner with platform engineering teams to integrate network services into CI/CD workflows.
  • Observability & Operational Reliability:
    • Establish deep observability into cloud network paths, health indicators, and latency measurements.
    • Apply SRE practices to ensure uptime, fast incident response, and continuous improvement.
    • Drive performance optimization and root cause analysis through telemetry, analytics, and runbooks.
    • Define and monitor SLAs, SLOs, and KPIs related to cloud connectivity experience.
  • Security, Compliance & Governance:
    • Ensure secure design and enforcement of network segmentation, firewall rules, and encryption policies.
    • Collaborate with ISRM, cloud, and infrastructure teams to maintain compliance and risk posture.
    • Operationalize zero-trust principles within the cloud network design.
  • Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Work closely with network, cloud platform, security, and architecture teams to ensure alignment and consistency.
    • Partner with product and engineering teams to understand and meet workload-specific connectivity needs.
    • Act as a subject matter expert in cloud connectivity across all business units and initiatives.
  • Leadership & Team Development:
    • Lead a global team responsible for cloud network architecture, engineering, and operations.
    • Foster a high-performance culture focused on innovation, automation, and service excellence.
    • Promote knowledge sharing and enablement across cloud and infrastructure domains.


What You'll Bring

Required Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in cloud or enterprise networking, with deep cloud connectivity expertise.
  • Proven hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Alibaba networking services.
  • Strong understanding of BGP, DNS, VPC/VNet peering, private link, VPN, and transit gateway solutions.
  • Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and network automation.
  • Demonstrated success implementing SRE principles and observability in large-scale environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certifications such as AWS Advanced Networking, Google Cloud Network Engineer, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with service mesh, API gateways, and microservices communication patterns.
  • Experience with global connectivity strategies for a highly distributed workforce and cloud footprint.

The Director - Cloud Connectivity plays a foundational role in enabling BCG's modern digital operations through secure, observable, and fully automated cloud networking. This leader ensures every connection-from cloud to cloud, region to region, and service to service-is reliable, performant, and built to scale with business demand.



Additional info

Total compensation for this role includes base salary, annual discretionary performance bonus, retirement contribution, and a market leading benefits package described below.

  • The base salary range for this role is $181,000.00 - $21,000.00

This is an estimated range, however, specific base salaries within the range depend on various factors such as experience and skill set. It is not common for new BCG employees to be hired at the high-end of the salary range. BCG regularly reviews its ranges to ensure market competitiveness.

In addition to your base salary, your total compensation will include a bonus of up to 30% and a generous retirement contribution that starts at 5% and moves to 10% after 2 years.

We're looking for an exceptional Solutions Specialist Director based either in the UK or Germany to lead and grow our sales engineering organisation for the Zero Trust Cloud Product portfolio. You will lead our existing specialist architects in both EMEA and APJ and help us grow and strengthen the team. You will align closely with the GTM Sales Leaders in both Geos, Product Management, and engineering to help close deals and execute strategic solutions for customers and partners. As a Sales Engineering Director, your responsibilities will include:-
+ Recruiting, mentoring, and developing the sales engineering team covering the EMEA and APJ Region
+ Refining and scaling the core sales engineering processes such as discovery, technical qualification and proof-of-concept.
+ Working with sales leadership and clients to design, create and present business solutions to increase client revenue growth.
**What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)**
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience
+ Proven track record and experience in sales engineering or systems engineering as well as managing and directing a sales engineering team
+ Demonstrated experience of mentoring, coaching and development
+ Must be used to working in a matrixed environment with the larger GTM team to promote, sell and support the Data Security Business line and have a proven ability to demonstrate and communicate Value based selling
**What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)**
+ Experience working with Zscaler (or competitive solutions) in the Zero Trust Cloud Product line
+ Understanding of SaaS based technologies and regulatory compliance for the Geos

The Standards Verifier plays a key role in maintaining the integrity and consistency of vocational qualifications by ensuring that assessment and internal verification practices meet national standards. **Role Specific Services and Expectations**
In addition to Pearson's core service expectations, this role requires the following specialised responsibilities:
Stay up to date with relevant qualification specifications and, where applicable, National Occupational Standards.
Provide expert advice, guidance, and support tailored to your subject area and in line with verification requirements.
Attend and complete all mandatory training and annual standardisation activities within required timelines.
Conduct centre visits as required for qualifications involving visiting verification, following guidance from the Assessment team and subject to approval.
Adhere to Pearson's quality assurance processes and follow prescribed sampling strategies for allocated qualifications.
Review learner work and internal verification records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Ensure assessment decisions are valid, consistent, and aligned with national standards.
Provide constructive feedback and support to centres during the sampling process.
Produce comprehensive and actionable sampling reports for each centre visited.
Clearly communicate when standards are not met and outline the necessary corrective actions.
Assist centres in addressing issues, implementing improvements, and maintaining ongoing compliance.
Identify and recommend suitable learner work or assessment materials for use in future training and standardisation events.
Maintain regular communication with your Pearson supervisor and work collaboratively with internal teams.
This role requires a proactive approach to quality assurance and a commitment to maintaining Pearson's high standards across all responsibilities.
**Experience and Qualifications required:**
**Experience:**
As a representative of the company, you will be expected to have experience in, or be able to demonstrate the ability of the following:
Strong background in quality assurance and assessment practices.
Experience in verifying regulated qualifications.
Exceptional communication skills.
Proven ability to deliver and coordinate training sessions, including standardisation and other standards-focused activities.
In-depth knowledge of specifications relevant to your specialist sector, encompassing both internal.
Examples of previous leadership or support roles in essential quality assurance activities.
**Qualifications:**

**BTEC Higher Nationals**
**Purpose of this Role**
Affirm national standards have been achieved and upheld
Monitor through external examiner sampling and visit activities, centres' compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations for RQF BTEC Higher National programmes
Support centres during the sampling process
Support centres in the delivery of BTEC Higher National programmes to national standards.
**Key Accountabilities**
Covering a defined range of programmes within a sector, the External Examiner (EE) will:
Undertake sampling of assessed student work within defined parameters and rules to establish that centres are assessing learning outcomes in accordance with Pearson standards for its Higher National qualifications
Provide sampling-related support and development to centres
Produce reports for centres and Pearson on the sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided
Apply appropriate sanctions in consultation with the team leader where it is deemed assessment outcomes are not consistent with the published national standards being met
Produce targeted actions for centres to assist with remedial actions where national standards are not being upheld
Support centres to understand and implement identified actions
Facilitate the Senior External Examiner (SEE) in sourcing materials for training and standardisation
Report back to Pearson and centres following EE activity within agreed service-level agreements
Undertake any other duties appropriate to the work of Technical and Professional Assessment in relation to this role
**Previous Experience:** **Essential:**
Significant experience in delivering and assessing BTEC Higher National qualifications in the subject area
Hold a qualification at least at Level 6 and a full and relevant competence qualification for working in the sector
Participation annually in online training and standardisation and successful completion of the set standardisation activity
**Desirable:**
Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the sector
A willingness to use technology-based approaches to communication and centre support
**Skills and Knowledge** **Essential:**
Excellent communication, written, verbal, IT and interpersonal skills
Good working knowledge of the specifications that comprise the area of expertise for the role
A customer-focused approach
The need to meet deadlines
Develop and monitor clear action plans
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
**Desirable:**
Word processing and intermediate Excel skills
