Looking for a Financial Controller to join the team within an Investment Management firm, supporting the wider finance function, investment team and the MD.


Responsibilities:


  • Coordinate and supervise the accounting processes and, working in partnership with the external SPV administrators and accounting firms, produce accurate and timely information, in particular focusing on:
  • Quarterly accounts and investor reporting;
  • Transaction and deal support.
  • Monitor and review transactions including capital calls, distribution calculations and notices;
  • Review management fee and carry calculations;
  • Assist with forecasting of liquidity requirements for SPV entities;
  • Ensure robust controls around cash movements from SPVs, including working with the asset manager/ property manager to correctly monitor and report cashflows in relation to underlying properties;
  • Maintain, establish and implement financial and information reporting systems and comply with reporting frameworks (e.g., IFRS, FRS102) and other relevant legislation.
  • Develop an understanding of investment holding structures and ensure these are maintained correctly.
  • Work with SPV administrators, accounting firms and auditors for a successful and timely completion of the annual audits by providing support to the external auditors throughout the audit process and carrying out a thorough review of the financial statements for all SPVs.
  • Work with the SPV administrators to ensure investors receive timely financial information and reporting.
  • Work alongside the Asset Manager/ property manager in relation to financial and compliance matters Management Company group entities
  • Supervise and coordinate the external accounting firms in the preparation of the quarterly management accounts, budgets, cash flow forecasts, corporation tax and VAT returns.


Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from a top University, ideally Mathematics, Sciences, Engineering, Economics or related disciplines
  • 0-2 years PQE working for an investment manager and/or advisory firm, with some of this likely spent in real estate.

Investment Management client requires two Product Delivery Coaches to elevate their product delivery practices across the enterprise. This role is focused on hands-on product coaching: driving day-to-day coaching and facilitation within product pods and groups, shaping onboarding and training programs, and enabling enterprise-level alignment across strategy and delivery.

The SVP will be aligned to specific platforms and geographies, ensuring delivery practices are consistent, meeting best practices and are client focused. They will also support an outcome-driven, product-led organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted coach for product pods and groups, providing hands-on support in product management delivery practices, and cross-platform collaboration.
  • Facilitate retrospectives, sprint reviews, backlog refinements, and other activities that support PO and PMs in PODs and Groups, embedding best practices tailored to a product-led development model.
  • Review and refine user stories, initiatives, epics, and requirements to ensure clarity, traceability, and compliance with regulatory, risk, and audit standards.
  • Act as a connector across pods, resolving platform-related product questions and aligning initiatives across client, product, and geographic dimensions.
  • Partner with product and technology leadership to enable timely, client-centered delivery while balancing regulatory discipline and business priorities.
  • Drive adoption of outcome-based roadmaps, OKRs, and product success measures to move teams beyond outputs toward measurable impact.

Qualifications & Experience

  • 5–9 years of product management, delivery, or product coaching experience
  • Proven expertise in agile product delivery, backlog management, and cross-functional product coaching, ideally supported by work with organizations like General Assembly, Product School, or similar and in the financial services or fintech environments.
  • Familiarity with financial services products, platforms, and client segments
  • Demonstrated ability to connect across pods, platforms, and geographies, ensuring alignment in complex organizations.
