About the Team
CreditSights seeks a Credit Analyst to join our European Consumer, Retail and Services Team based in London. The ideal candidate will have some prior experience in credit research or a similar role (1-3 years), with strong numeracy and writing skills, and have a demonstrated interest in capital markets.We are looking for a candidate who is qualified, eager, and a self-starter and who thrives when faced with challenging timescales. The position requires the ability to work independently and the ability to be a team player who likes to work collaboratively. The candidate should be someone who is looking to develop their skills in fundamental and industry analysis, and be a part of an established, dynamic and well-regarded financial services firm. The candidate will also have the ability to make important contributions quickly, while learning fundamental credit analysis.
The candidate will be responsible for all tasks related to issuer and sector coverage, including building and maintaining financial models, monitoring multiple news sources for relevant stories and information, interpreting and analysing financial statements, contributing to research reports (earnings notes, newsflow, credit events, topical research), and supporting senior analysts in preparation for client meetings and events.

- Build and update financial and industry models
- Interpret and analyse financial statements for credit analysis
- Monitor and interpret bond and other capital market movements
