About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate , patient , and enthusiastic Mentor to support young people with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Bournemouth/Christchurch/Poole. In this role, you will provide 1:1 mentoring to help young people build confidence, develop social skills, and achieve their personal goals, all while working on a schedule that suits you.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored mentoring sessions that encourage independence, resilience, and positive social interactions.
- Support young people to develop communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a safe and nurturing environment.
- Work closely with families, schools, and other professionals to ensure consistent support.
- Act as a positive role model, promoting inclusion, respect, and personal growth.
