Our Nutrition Advice Team play a critical role in providing expert advice to both our professional customers and home consumers on nutrition and health related queries. We are looking for a passionate nutrition advice specialist to join our team!
About the Role:
- Based in our Lamberts HQ in Tunbridge Wells in this role you will provide nutrition advice to our customers through multiple channels including phone, email, live chat, and social media. Our nutrition advice team receive thousands of calls per year, and we are committed to ensuring every customer receives exemplary service through accurate and responsible advice in a timely manner.
- This is a fast paced and busy environment; the role requires someone passionate to respond to new and exciting customer queries delivering accurate and responsible nutrition advice. This means maintaining up-to-date knowledge of product ranges and latest developments in nutrition, staying on top of changes the competitor landscape.
- We promise our customers a prompt and reliable service so good organization skills and the ability to multi-task, with high levels of accuracy are necessary. We have a CRM system in place through which we log advice contacts, safety, and quality related enquires, so feeling comfortable inputting data in a timely manner is also required in this role.
- Attention to Detail is required to ensure that the right Quality Control is met. It's crucial in this role that our procedures are followed so that queries are resolved in a timely manner with complaints identified, logged and responded to within the correct time frame.

Job Qualifications
What we are looking for:
Education: You will be degree educated in Nutrition (BSc), or a health-related degree with a substantial nutrition element, with a sound knowledge of nutrition and health and confident in writing technical reports. Other Nutrition related qualifications, such as a Diploma may be considered.
Customer Experience: ideally you have experience in a customer service facing role via telephone, e-commerce, or face to face.
Communication: you will need to explain complicated things in a simple way, both verbal and written meaning business fluent proficiency in English.
Team Player: whilst working within an immediate team of other Nutrition Advice Specialists, you will also demonstrate adaptability and flexibility to support other colleagues as required

As the Head of Equine & Smallholder Nutrition, you will play a major part in overseeing product development, feed trials, sampling and the nutritional analysis of feeds in line with current legislation.
As the role includes giving equine nutritional advice over the phone, email and at shows and events the successful candidate will be approachable and able to relate and communicate to colleagues and customers of all ages and backgrounds. As well as the ability to write articles for internal and external publications, the successful candidate will also be proficient in writing and presenting nutritional lectures.
Key responsibilities of the role will include:
- Management of an award-winning team of nutritionists.

As this role covers both our equine and smallholder ranges, in addition to equine knowledge and experience our client are also looking for someone who can give nutritional advice for animals such as poultry, pigs, sheep, goats and cattle.
Successful candidates will have experience of managing a team, have leisure horse experience and ideally hold a relevant Master's Degree.

- Outstanding technical knowledge in animal nutrition — equine is essential, some smallholder preferable
- Educated to Master's degree level, ideally in Equine Science, Equine Studies, Animal Science or Animal Management
