Key Responsibilities:

Are you a Flight Simulator Maintenance Engineer looking to step into one of the industry's leading names taking charge of a team of engineers to work on a range of cutting-edge machinery that will help train the pilots of the future? This role has direct pathways to progress into a more senior managerial role.

On offer is the opportunity to work at a company on the cutting edge of simulation technology. This company has 4 simulation machines and has trained numerous pilots over the years. This company provides their staff support and has an open line of communication between management and their engineers.

In this role, you will be carrying out the day-to-day maintenance of up to 4 full flight simulators, training the junior technicians and communicating with the pilots. Performing secondary duties such as calibrations and tool inspections. Furthermore, you will be performing logistical duties, including parts received, repair and testing/validation as well as administrative tasks as required. This job entails a variable shift pattern, whether that be day or night shifts.

This role would suit a Flight Simulator Maintenance Engineer with a background in simulation machines that desires a management role with progression paths to . The company is constantly looking for ways to create a more advanced training experience with new training tools being added to the systems regularly. This role has direct pathways to progress into a more senior managerial role.

The Role:

  • Maintaining and troubleshooting flight simulators to ensure peak performance.
  • Diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and software issues.
  • Collaborating with engineers and instructors to improve simulation accuracy.
  • Installing and integrating new technology and software updates.
  • Conducting regular system tests and preventative maintenance.


The person:

  • Experience in simulation, avionics, or electromechanical systems.
  • Strong understanding of mechanics, electronics, and software integration.
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Passion for aviation and innovation in training technology.

We are currently seeking a typed Captain  for our Part 91, Honda Jet  based in the greater London-area, UK.

This full-time contract opportunity features competitive compensation and fully paid medical/healthcare.

  • Position: Captain
  • Aircraft: Honda Jet
  • Position Type: Contract
  • Location: London, UK
  • Operation: 91; approximately 350 hours annually
  • Compensation/Benefits: 90,000.00GBP to $125,000.00GBP; fully paid medical/healthcare premium for full-time contract position.

Requirements:

  • Must have the right to live & work in the UK.
  • Prefer reside  within a three-hour drivable radius to greater London, UK or be willing to relocate to meet this requirement.
  • Honda Jet type rating required, with a minimum of 200 hours in type.
  • Requirements include 3,500 hours of total time, 2,000 hours of PIC time, and 1,000 hours of Turbine time.  
  • Valid EASA pilot’s license preferred
  • FAA ATP preferred.
  • Unrestricted ability to travel to all EU, US, Canada, and Caribbean countries.
  • Comply with all Federal Aviation regulations, company operations manual, operations specifications, standard operating procedures, and company policies & procedures.
  • Full, legible, color copies of all EASA and/or FAA certificates (both sides), including Medical as well as completion of a disclosure form, will be required as part of the application process.

Positions in this classification are considered safety-sensitive under DOT/FAA drug and alcohol regulations.
