Ashford, Kent

£27k-£29k (DOE) + uncapped commission structure and additional on-call allowance

Here at CRS Resource Ltd we have an exciting opportunity for a Recruitment Co-ordinator to join our expanding team based in our Ashford Head Office.

CRS are a well-established specialist recruitment company providing a wide spectrum of workforce solutions to the Rail and Construction industries.

To be successful in this role, you will need experience of managing a demanding client base with impeccable customer service and ideally come from a recruitment background.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the management of your projects to ensure the client’s expectations are met and the teams you provide are adequately qualified for their roles.

As Recruitment Co-ordinator, your role will include:

  • Identifying staff vacancies and recruiting, interviewing and selecting applicants
  • Fulfilling shift requirements by assessing correct team members to complete each assignment given by the client
  • Providing current and prospective employees with information about policies, job duties, working conditions and wages
  • Performing difficult staffing duties, including dealing with under-staffing, assisting with disputes, and assisting with disciplinary procedures if/when required
  • Planning and conducting new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward organisational objectives
  • Serving as a link between management and employees by handling questions and helping resolve work-related problems
  • Analysing training needs to ensure that the correct employee is deployed for the correct job/task/activity
  • Maintaining records and compiling statistical reports as requested

The requirements for this role are:

  • Volume recruitment experience, ideally within the rail or construction industries
  • Ability to work to deadlines
  • To be able to manage and prioritise your work
  • Confident communicator at all levels

We are looking for someone who will bring innovative ideas to the table while running a busy and successful labour desk. You will be the key to the overall performance and smooth running of this core part of CRS.

Job Purpose:


Reporting into the Head of Recruitment Operations, you’ll engage active and passive candidates, promoting the benefits of client opportunities across multiple sectors.   • Take and shape vacancy briefs from clients, understanding their needs and desired outcomes.
  • Source, screen, and shortlist suitable candidates using a range of tools and methods.
  • Coordinate interviews and manage the offer and feedback process.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and candidates, acting as a trusted advisor.
  • Create targeted search lists and stay informed on market trends and resourcing technology.
  • Provide management information and support colleagues where needed.

Skills & Experience Required (OR What We’re Looking For OR What You’ll Bring To The Role):


  • Demonstrable experience in a Recruitment delivery role.
  • An understanding of a business structure and how functions fit together.
  • Ability to recruit across a number of levels of roles including up to £60k.
  • Experience in successfully sourcing commercial Candidates across corporate Head Office roles.
