We are seeking a Software Developer to work on challenging projects with the UK Government. Our development includes regular updates to comply with new legislation, high-profile changes, and the development of software to help our customers implement government schemes quickly. Our software supports citizens and businesses across the UK.
This role involves working on Oracle Web-based applications supplied to local authorities and central government clients in the UK. The solutions are delivered as on-premise applications or as hosted SaaS solutions. Key skills required are Oracle, PL/SQL, and Oracle Apex.
Note: Due to security clearance requirements, only applicants who have lived in the UK continuously for 5 years or more will be considered.
Qualifications- Proven experience in full life cycle development of large applications using Oracle databases and tools
- Strong PL/SQL skills, including designing specifications, problem-solving, and performance tuning
- Understanding of application and data security
- Eligibility for UK Security Clearance
- Experience with Oracle Apex
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, SOAP, REST
- Relevant Computer Science or Technical Degree
