RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assisting the general manager in the day to day running of the wine bar
- Preparing and serving wine to customers
- Having the knowledge/ confidence to talk about the wines and recommend from our list
- Willing to learn and undertake the appropriate training of wine and food offering
- Providing a high level of consistent customer service
- Ensuring the regular customers are looked after and their preferences remembered
- Maintaining the bar area, always looking for new ways to display and show off the wine
- Washing and polishing glassware
- Replenishing stock when needed before, during and after shift
- Complying and following licensing regulations
- Working as part of a team to deliver excellent customer experience
- Undertake other duties commensurate with grade and role, Eg, preparing small cold plates
- Be at work on time ready to be on the floor of your starting time
Requirements
- WSET L2 or equivalent
- Effective communicator
- Excellent team player and a fun member of the team
- Effective at working under pressure
- Passion and knowledge in wine
- Experienced at working in a timely and organised manner

We are currently looking for a Wine Manager to be our onsite expert for all things wine in our award winning restaurant.
The Wine Manager is responsible for:
- Education/Training: Inspiring and developing the restaurant (both BoH and FoH) team in their understanding of, and ability to sell and serve wine

Key Responsibilities:
- Support the General Manager in recruiting, training, and leading a high-performing team focused on delivering outstanding customer service.
- Build long-term relationships with clients through expert product knowledge and personalised service.
- Assist in executing the annual marketing calendar, including in-store tastings, events, and promotional campaigns.
- Manage stock levels, oversee inventory processes, and ensure accurate stock control.
- Identify commercial opportunities and contribute strategic insights to drive growth.
