Responsibilities
- Implementing the procurement strategy defined by the Commodity Procurement
- Management and the Projects Multi-Functional-Teams (MFT) within the scope of activity supporting Airbus divisions' needs.
- Manage procurement projects and call for tenders with multi-divisional scope within the scope of the Building & Construction Team and international scope on demand, including within Building sub-commodity PJRB.
- Develop and maintain an efficient supply chain capable of delivering goods/services, matching Airbus requirements and business objectives.
- Ensure that deliverables are in line with the contractual terms (cost, time, quality).
- Secure long-term alignment of the preferred supplier base with the long-term trans-divisional strategic needs of Airbus.
- Ensure continuous commercial relationship with suppliers to secure work with best-in-class suppliers and protect Airbus from contractual risks.
- Conduct the procurement process to fulfil business needs and provide the internal customers with valued services in compliance with the Airbus General Procurement procedures and guidelines, to full customers satisfaction.
- Deliver on initiatives contributing to Airbus Savings Programmes using the levers of requirements harmonisation/standardization, challenge of the specifications, volume aggregation, and control of the demand.
Essential Skills:
- Strong understanding of strategic sourcing and procurement lifecycle.
- Expertise in running tenders (RFPs/RFQs) and supplier selection.
- Ability to negotiate, establish, and manage frame contracts at both national and international levels.
- Skills in supplier evaluation and development (performance, cost, quality, delivery).
- Experience in supplier risk assessment and mitigation.
- Proven capability in leading cross-functional and multi-divisional teams.
- Strong project management skills to drive procurement initiatives end-to-end.
- Stakeholder engagement skills to align internal customers' needs with procurement strategies.

Housing Repairs Complaints Surveyor required for what will initially be a 3-6 month temporary contract, but is likely to become a fixed term or permanent contract in the future. Hourly pay rate will be based on a yearly salary of 40,777 working 37 hours a week, Monday - Friday.
DBS check will be carried out by the client once the successful candidate has been selected. Please disclose any criminal convictions at application stage.
This is a mixed role to include office and home working, with visits to tenants' properties. A car driver with their own vehicle is required, and all visits are locally based.
A candidate with previous experience working on the tools , in building , construction, repairs or maintenance , coupled with good computer, and organisational skills is required. Knowledge of mould and damp issues, and the upcoming Awaab's Law is highly desirable.
Duties:
- Inspect repairs which have not been adequately described by the tenant or contractor
- Organise the placing and management of responsive maintenance and specific contracts for repair work in all trades and by appropriate specialists
- Organise schedules, manage contractors involving repair work which is not covered by current contract procedures
- Supervise contractors , scrutinise and undertake technical audits
- Organise minor works to rectify fire, flood damage
- Carry out site visits in relation to tenant and leaseholders complaints
- Advise tenants on easy remedies to protect their homes, security and energy saving
- Compile and calculate the cost of schedules of repair, liaise with the Council's loss adjusters, when required
- Investigate complaints received
