Well-established UK law firm, based in Tunbridge Wells, is on the lookout for a client facing and creative Business Development Executive to join their BD team.
- Salary to £40,000
- Tunbridge Wells location
- Standard office hours and hybrid working (3 days office / 2 days remote)
This opportunity is about strategy, creativity, and support – you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping how the firm connects with its clients, from organising events and creating digital content, to researching trends and pulling together standout pitches.
Business Development Executive Key Responsibilities:
- Bring sector and practice growth plans to life in a hands-on, practical way
- Work with BD managers and lawyers to produce compelling pitches, proposals, and presentations
- Create fresh and engaging content for our website, newsletters, campaigns, and articles
- Research markets and competitors, spotting opportunities and building profiles on potential clients
- Help plan and deliver events and marketing campaigns
- Keep our databases, case studies, and client stories up to date
- Share tools, guides, and tips with the team
- Pull together reporting and insights to measure what’s working and where to improve
Business Development Executive Skills & Requirements:
- Previous Business Development experience within a law firm or professional services
- Demonstrates a strong sense of commercial awareness and naturally curious about how markets and clients tick
- Flexibility and happy to travel between three offices and occasionally supporting evening events
- Solid Microsoft Office skills with an interest in learning new platforms

This specialist law firm, with an international remit, is looking for a Business Development Executive to support their Liability Defence Groups (Personal Injury group).
With a global presence in APAC, UK, EMEA, the US and Latin America, this is a core role to work with the various teams at an operational level to influence them on their BD activities and client development opportunities.
Key Duties Include:
- Deliver tactical BD initiatives, including capability statements and marketing collateral
- Lead group meetings to deliver tactical plans
- Drive strategic initiatives to promote client relationship management
- Analyse competitors and market research
- Manage opportunities to engage with key industry bodies to position the firm as a thought leader
The team are looking for someone with ambition and the drive to lead on projects and work directly with Partners, as there will be lots of autonomy in the role.
Candidates must have BD experience within professional services. Legal is ideal, but wider consultancy and accountancy could be just as beneficial.
