We are now looking to hire a Chief of Staff to join our team. We are seeking a highly driven, commercially astute professional to work closely with our Co-Founders on the smooth running and scaling of our UK and US offices. This is a fast paced, high impact role that will suit someone who thrives in a dynamic, execution focused environment.
Job Description
Work closely with the Co-Founders on any tasks required for the smooth running of the business, such as:
- Act as the point person for operational matters not covered by business development, research operations or policy teams, including unplanned or urgent situations and special projects
- Lead major operational projects as required, e.g.:
- Setting up a new office or subsidiary
- Administering processes around acquisitions or restructuring
- Support ongoing fundraising activities, investor relationship management, and investor reporting
- Support CEO and VP Business Development on go-to-market research and planning
- Prepare materials (with VP Global Communications and CEO) for investor updates, board meetings and investor pitches
- Manage corporate administration, including Companies House filings, EIS compliance, and US equivalents
- Draft company policies in collaboration with other senior operations and science team members
- Ensure that information and best practices are propagated throughout the organisation
- Oversee operational aspects of UK and US offices, including:
- Landlord liaison and contract negotiations
- Space planning and allocation
- AV setup and maintenance
