The Chief Inspector will ensure that work being produced on the shop floor conforms to customer drawings, CAD models or conditions of supply.

  • Overseeing the Inspection Area and function.

  • Experience as a C-Dmis CMM Programmer

  • High willingness to travel, flexible attitude to working hours including working at weekends
  • Clean driving license
  • German language would be beneficial, good English language is essential

Are you a seasoned pharmacy leader with a passion for strategic impact and clinical excellence? One of our NHS clients based in Berkshire is looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Pharmacist to lead their pharmacy services.

This is a high-profile, strategic role offering the opportunity to shape medicines optimisation across the Trust, influence policy, and collaborate with academic partners—all while leading a dedicated team of professionals.

What You’ll Do As Chief Pharmacist, you’ll:

Provide strategic leadership for the Pharmacy Department

Act as the Trust’s Accountable Officer for Controlled Drugs

Represent the Trust with distinction within the General Pharmaceutical Council

Lead medicines optimisation, including budget setting and formulary development

Ensure clinical trials are managed in line with national standards

Support key meetings by setting agendas and advising chairs

Oversee the Pharmacy Clozapine Service and contribute to research initiatives

Collaborate with the University of Reading on academic practice and joint research

Location: Berkshire

What We’re Looking For

GPhC registration

Master’s degree in Pharmacy

Extensive NHS experience is essential

Proven leadership at a senior pharmacist level

Strong people management and departmental leadership skills

Deep understanding of medicines governance, clinical trials, and optimisation strategies

My client engineers and manufactures precision machined components for the aerospace, defence and communications sectors

They are seeking a skilled and motivated Chief inspector to oversee and organize their inspection function.

Chief inspector

The Chief Inspector will ensure that work being produced on the shop floor conforms to customer drawings, CAD models or conditions of supply.

Responsibilities include:
  • Overseeing the Inspection Area and function.
  • Supervising, coaching and encouraging other members of the Inspection team.
  • Taking instruction from the senior management team (SMT) on what is required for throughput, managing resources in inspection to achieve them and to communicate on the status of works orders.
  • Evaluating the process in the inspection department and give suggestions on continual improvements to SMT.
  • Ensuring that processes such as first offs and card being stamped are being observed out on the shopfloor.
  • Quality assurance activities: - First off, in process/stage, final inspection, FAI reporting.
  • CMM programming.
  • CMM maintenance and arranging repairs.
  • Aiding in the investigation of product non-conformities both internal and external.
  • Attending shop floor SQCDP meetings.
  • Customer communication as required.

To be considered for this role, applicants will need to have previous experience in a similar inspection/quality control role in at a senior level, within an engineering or manufacturing environment, producing complex, high precision, low volume components.

You will need to have some of the following:
  • Experience as a C-Dmis CMM Programmer
  • Understanding of EN 9100:2018
  • Ability to generate AS9102 FAIRs (High-QA experience would be a bonus)
  • Experience in raising release documents - Dispatch notes and CofCs
  • Experience of taking part in MRB meetings and quality investigations

A really exciting opportunity has arisen to join Guildford Borough Council as their permanent Chief Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Finance and with responsibility for a small team, your role will be to provide strategic financial and commercial services and advice across the organisation to enable the Council's planning and operational activity to be delivered in sustainable and cost effective ways. You role will also ensure the production and reporting of accurate financial accounting information, production of the MTFS and delivery of the Council's grouped statement of accounts in accordance with the statutory deadlines.

This is a key role in the Finance team and your role will include:
