I'm recruiting on behalf of my client for an exciting Digital Content Creator opportunity. My client is one of the UK market leaders within the test and measurement instrumentation industry. Trading since 2005, they specialise in sales, calibration, training, and hire of test equipment across sectors such as electrical, gas/HVAC, surveying, utilities and more. They work in close partnership with world-renowned manufacturers, supplying a wide range of customers from independent tradespeople to some of the largest organisations in the UK.
 
About the Role
We're looking for a creative and driven Digital Content Creator with a strong focus on video production to join the marketing team. You'll be responsible for planning, producing, and editing engaging video content - tailored for social media platforms, YouTube, websites, and blogs - as well as contributing to the wider marketing output through graphics and other content creation. Your work will help connect with the audience, grow brand awareness, and drive engagement.
 
Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, script, shoot, and edit video content for social media channels, website, YouTube, and blogs.
  • Create or repurpose content into short-form clips, teasers, graphics or reels for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other platforms.
  • Work within the marketing team to develop creative content ideas aligned with campaigns / brand goals and publish them once completed.
  • Capture and edit behind-the-scenes content, tutorials, product explainers, and promotional videos.
  • Ensure all content is optimised for each platform (e.g., aspect ratio, captions, metadata, SEO tags).
  • Stay up to date with content trends, platform updates, and emerging formats.
  • Support the wider content strategy by contributing visuals, graphics, and occasional blog content to complement videos.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in video production and editing (portfolio, showreel or examples required).
  • Proficiency with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms (YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook).
  • Ability to create concepts, script, storyboard and plan shoots independently.
  • Solid graphic design ability, able to elevate your videos or create graphical content.
  • Good copywriting skills for video descriptions, titles, and supporting blog posts or social media posts.
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail, pacing, and audience engagement.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Please note: My client will also consider a graduate with knowledge of the above requirements and a strong portfolio or demonstrable experience.

  • Experienced in Figma, content tools and Digital Content writing is essential.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and an innovative mindset for problem-solving.
  • Credibility and confidence when engaging with senior audiences, providing constructive challenges when necessary.
  • Resilience and calmness under pressure, along with the ability to identify potential risks and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying ideas and implications to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in research and design thinking methods, particularly in the financial services or government sectors.

About the Role
As a Digital Content Designer, your expertise will shine as you:

  • Collaborate effectively within agile teams to identify priorities, visualise outcomes, and define project scope.
  • Shape strategic initiatives driven by insights from colleagues, customers, and market trends.
  • Facilitate workshops and discussions with stakeholders, ensuring clarity on business context and informed decision-making.
  • Communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders, managing expectations and integrating diverse perspectives into solutions.
  • Conduct research and document current and future state services to enhance customer journeys.
  • Make informed design decisions while putting the user experience at the forefront.

  • Work closely with designers, product owners, and engineers to foster a collaborative environment.
  • Engage actively in the design community, sharing knowledge and embedding design principles across various products and services.

As we continue to grow and evolve, we're looking for a creative and highly organised Digital Content Assistant to join our team on a temporary basis to support our digital and e-commerce channels during a key trading period. The Role: As our Digital Content Assistant, you will support the digital and creative teams in producing, uploading, and optimising content across our website, email campaigns, and social media platforms. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about fashion and digital storytelling, with a strong eye for detail and a can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities: Upload and update product listings, banners, and editorial content across the website using our CMS Assist with the creation and scheduling of content for email campaigns and social media channels Optimise product imagery and copy to ensure consistency and alignment with brand guidelines Support with digital asset management and organisation Liaise with design, marketing, and e-commerce teams to ensure timely delivery of content Assist with basic image resizing, cropping, and file formatting as needed Monitor website content for errors or inconsistencies and report/fix as required About You: Previous experience in a similar content, digital marketing, or e-commerce role (internship experience welcome) Working knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g. Shopify, WordPress, Magento) Basic Photoshop or image editing skills A passion for fashion, branding, and digital content Highly organised with excellent attention to detail Strong written communication and proofing skills Able to work quickly, independently, and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Bonus Points If You Have: Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g. Klaviyo, Mailchimp) Familiarity with social media scheduling tools (e.g. Later, Hootsuite) Interest or experience in fashion e-commerce What We Offer: A chance to work with a creative and ambitious team in a dynamic fashion environment Hands-on experience across digital channels during a high-impact trading period London-based head office with flexible hybrid working options How to Apply: Send your CV!
