They’re champions of the North West and are proud that it’s their electricity network that connects communities and helps keep the electricity flowing every minute of every day, from when you wake up to when you fall asleep and all the hours in between.

You’ll play a key part in ensuring ENWL’s preparedness for major incidents — from storms and power outages to supporting plans for cyber security, business continuity, environmental, and data incidents. - Delivering engagement plans to promote incident ownership across the business
- Maintaining incident planning documentation and lessons learned trackers
- Representing ENWL at national and local meetings, including Emergency Planning Manager Forum and Local Resilience Forums
- Supporting ENWL’s Incident Management Centre during incidents, including out-of-hours participation
About You

- Direct experience working with the Civil Contingencies Act (2004), ideally in the capacity of a Category 1 or Category 2 responder
- A strong understanding of multi-agency emergency planning, risk assessment, and resilience frameworks
- Experience contributing to or leading emergency planning, business continuity, or incident response in a regulated or critical infrastructure environment
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills
- Experience working with operational field teams and an understanding of customer and stakeholder needs
- Awareness of the electricity distribution business, regulatory standards, and civil contingency requirements would be a bonus
