Our Farm
Brymore Academy is part of the Bridgwater & Taunton College Trust and is a state boarding school for boys with a proud tradition of combining academic achievement with practical, hands-on learning. The Brymore farm is the largest school farm in the UK and consists of 50 head of cattle, 80 breeding ewes, 3 breeding sows, 50 chickens and 30 turkeys. The 20 dairy cows are milked twice a day and are calved in the autumn.
Our working farm is Red Tractor assured and is a core part of school life, offering students real agricultural experience and developing their sense of responsibility, confidence, and ambition.
Your Role
As a General Farm Worker, you will work within the existing team. Your roles and responsibilities will include.
- Assist with the husbandry and general welfare of farm animals, including daily checks, feeding, grooming, bedding up, and assisting with milking, breeding and lambing.
- Maintain farm equipment and structures, performing minor repairs and ensuring the farm is kept safe to operate
- Support the head of agriculture in demonstrating different tasks as part of practical lessons to the students
- Preparing and showing animals for local and county shows
- Spotting illnesses and reporting these to the Farm Manager
- Adhering to all health & safety protocols, ensuring the high standards are met
- Keeping basic records and compliance up to date
- Work on a rota system to cover farm duties throughout term time, weekends, and holidays
- Contribute to events such as Open Days, Lambing Days, and community shows, ensuring the farm is a welcoming and engaging environment.

Rheinmetall BAE Systems Land (RBSL) is a defence engineering company based in the UK. We design, manufacture and support military vehicles used by the British Army and international customers.
The individual in this role will be responsible for the grit blast, surface preparation and masking etc prior to liner plates and surface treatments being applied

As a Workstream Lead (Material and Upstream), you will focus on leading the facilitation of a number of specific operational projects across our supply chain business. You will work across a high number of wet and dry end projects, ensuring that project actions, milestones and deliverables are achieved.
Your responsibilities will include…
- Lead and Facilitate project meetings for the multiple supply chain projects that you oversee, managing project plans and allocating actions
- Stakeholder Coordination: Facilitate meetings with a diverse group of stakeholders, including maintenance, engineering, operations, procurement and other teams to ensure a smooth installation process with minimal disruption to current production
- Supplier Management: Coordinate with the equipment suppliers and material vendors to ensure timely delivery and integration
- Process Mapping: Work with the operational teams to map out the flow, handling, and storage procedures to match the increased output, ensuring all steps are documented and communicated
- Risk Mitigation: Identify and manage risks associated with the new flow, such as potential bottlenecks, storage space limitations, or training requirements for staff
- Inventory Control: Work with the inventory management team to develop and implement new inventory control strategies to manage the larger volume of ingredients effectively, minimizing waste and spoilage.
- Safety and Compliance: Work with safety and quality teams to ensure the new storage options comply with all food safety, hygiene, and environmental regulations.
- Change Management: Work with the teams to manage the change in process and provide support during the transition period. This includes planning for any necessary downtime and training for new procedures
What you’ll bring.
The successful candidate will have;
- A qualification in relevant discipline or significant applied experience of supply chain management
- Demonstrable experience in a project coordination, project facilitator, or project lead role within a fast-paced supply chain, manufacturing, or operations environment
- Proven track record of successfully facilitating and driving multiple concurrent projects to achieve milestones and deliverables
- Experience in managing diverse stakeholders
- Practical experience in process mapping, optimising material flow, and implementing new operational procedures
- Familiarity with inventory control strategies and their application in a manufacturing or distribution setting
- Exposure to safety, quality, and compliance standards within a food manufacturing environment (e.g., BRC, HACCP principles)
