Reporting to the Shift Engineer, your responsibilities will include:

What You Will Need:
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A completedelectrical apprenticeship or a recognized electrical maintenance qualification (NVQ or similar).
- Experience in heavy Industrial industries (preferred).
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
Additionally, we would love to hear from candidates with experience in:
- Overhead cranes & associated safety systems.
- PLCs (Siemens & Allen Bradley) including HMIs.
- AC and DC motor/gearbox drive systems.
- Variable speed motor control (inverters, converters, and speed feedback devices).
- Interpretation of electrical drawings.
- Awareness of safety-related control systems.

Permanent static electrical maintenance engineer position available, working at a static site in Derby, working Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week. This position will suit an experienced electrical maintenance engineer, with commercial maintenance experience, that wants to work as part of a small on site maintenance team.
As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, your main duties will be to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on electrical systems and plant, such as lighting, emergency lighting, three phase power, and carry out small electrical installations. Key Purpose:
Responsible for ensuring site electrical systems and documentation are accurate and compliant with relevant codes, undertaking electrical repairs / maintenance of all site plant and equipment, including electrical breakdowns, fault finding, planned maintenance and electrical inspections/tests.
