We are seeking a talented and experienced Native Mobile App Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in both native Android and iOS development. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining high-performance, reliable, and secure mobile applications for both platforms.

Key responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality native applications for Android and iOS devices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.

Qualifications

  • For Android:

  • Proficiency in Kotlin (preferred) or Java for native Android development.

  • Strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes.
  • Experience with Android Jetpack components and modern Android development practices (e.g., MVVM architecture).
  • Familiarity with the Google Play Store deployment process.

  • For iOS:

  • Proficiency in Swift (preferred) or Objective-C for native iOS development.

We are looking for someone to help us to test the mobile apps that bring our industry-leading interfaces to life.  If you have answered yes to both questions above, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Software QA Manager, you will be working as part of a small development team to ensure the successful delivery of new mobile software to our users.

You will continue to evolve good practice in the planning and documentation of app testing within an agile development environment, and in the appropriate use of automated testing. Contributing to the continual evolution of our test approaches and tools will be a key part of your role.

You will work closely with the rest of the QA Team, as well as Software Developers, Product Designers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters from across our Engineering Department. 

Key activities include:

  • Supporting a culture of shared ownership for software quality and helping to maintain focus on our customers’ quality expectations.
  • Facilitating the creation of robust, well documented, and maintainable functional, non-functional, and user acceptance tests, as well as writing and executing them yourself
  • Writing automated end-to-end tests to enable more efficient regression testing.
  • Documenting and reporting test results, working closely with software developers to address any issues.

An ideal candidate is likely to be: 

  • From a professional mobile app (preferably hybrid) testing background
  • An advocate for Test Driven Development, comfortable writing automated end-to-end tests (preferably in JavaScript or TypeScript).
  • Familiar with git-based workflows (pull requests, rebasing, etc.) and the principles of Continuous Integration (CI).
  • Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage.
  • A clear communicator, used to working in an Agile development team.
  • Methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving.
  • Passionate and knowledgeable about music, audio technology, and recording.

Experience of some of the following would also be useful: 

  • Common JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
  • App Development/Test Tools, e.g. Appium, fastlane, TestFlight, adb, etc

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure that all relevant paperwork is completed regarding PPM, reactive and breakdown works and that it is passed without delay to the contract administrator.
• Ensure that Method Statements and Risk Assessments are prepared and used for all tasks undertaken to always ensure safe working practices.
• To develop a good working relationship with all members of CBRE staff, subcontractors and the client representatives. 
• Ensure the provision of a Safe and Healthy working environment. To include the wearing of uniform and PPE at all times. 
• Ensure the professional image of CBRE Managed Services is presented at all times. 
• Ensure up to date shift logs are kept at all times. 
• Ensure that all plant rooms under the responsibility of CBRE Managed services are always locked and are kept in a clean and tidy condition. 
• Supervising and monitoring of sub-contractors works whilst they are on site undertaking maintenance.

Mobile Engineer - 12 Months - Inside IR35 - Hybrid working - South London

Are you passionate about mobile technology and delivering exceptional employee experiences? A leading global bank is looking for a Mobile Engineer to join its Corporate Mobile team , on a 12-month contract .

This team manages mobile products and services for over 80,000 employees worldwide , and you'll play a key role in shaping the future of mobile engineering across the bank.

What You'll Do:

  • Engineer and configure mobile platforms with a strategic, future-focused mindset.
  • Collaborate with teams across Security, Operations, Architecture, Product, and Vendors to deliver secure, high-performing mobile solutions.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, operating models, and design artefacts.
  • Drive automation and best practices in mobile application engineering.
  • Participate in backlog grooming, feature planning, and testing activities.
  • Ensure compliance with architectural and operational standards.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Strong hands-on experience with BlackBerry UEM and Microsoft Intune.
  • Proven background in mobile engineering and platform management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and business teams.
  • Familiarity with enterprise security standards and mobile architecture best practices.

Job Purpose:

The Mobile Plant Engineer will support the organisation’s fleet by maintaining, servicing and repairing a wide range of heavy and light construction/agricultural machinery. The role is primarily field-based from a fully equipped service van, with additional workshop duties as required. You will work Monday to Friday, with overtime when needed to meet operational demands. We deliver nationwide support and first-class service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintenance & service across all makes of construction/agricultural machinery.
  • Effectively fault find across a varied range of construction/agricultural equipment.
  • Component replacement or repair to restore equipment functionality.
  • Carry out Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) and complete machine overhauls.
  • Log and communicate all parts used to ensure accurate customer invoicing.
  • Perform inspections and planned maintenance on agricultural plant machinery.
  • Accurately complete timesheets and obtain customer sign-off where relevant.

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Relevant qualifications such as NVQ Level 2 in Plant Maintenance or Land-Based Engineering (or equivalent experience).
  • Proficiency with service diagnostic software for modern plant and machinery.
  • Ability to use tablets/computer software for job logging and technical information.
  • Demonstrable experience in repair and maintenance within construction or agricultural environments.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel as required.

Desirable Skills & Experience:

  • Welding and fabrication skills.
  • Experience performing PDIs and full machine overhauls in a mobile role.

Personal Attributes:

  • Punctual and prepared to start on site as required.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with the confidence to work unaided and use initiative to solve problems.
  • Clear, professional communication with management and customers; able to follow site management instructions.
  • Professional manner and commitment to safe operation of plant machinery.
