Being responsible for all payment transactions on the shift and to report any discrepancies
Completing daily checklist tasks
Providing information to guests about outlets, staff and services, including hours of operation, room locations, types of room and room rates
Complying with the room selling strategies, cancellation procedures and walk procedures
Operating the switchboard and dealing with messages and enquiries when required, in an efficient and professional manner
Being fully aware of the Accident Reporting Procedure, Maintenance Fault Procedure and Fire Policy



**Qualifications:**


Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels.
Previous experience in a luxury hotel environment is preferred.

Ensure the maintenance of professional financial standards throughout the hotel Undertake a review of end-of-day takings against logged reports Edit all reports to ensure accuracy and full completion Investigate any anomalies found between daily reports and taking Assist the Night Manager in emergency situations

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:
Previous experience working in a hotel Finance Department Previous experience working in Front Office or hotel outlets
