About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the successful delivery of mid to large projects, with values ranging from £5,000 to m. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Integrated Security Market and be able to demonstrate experience in the security sector (access control, CCTV, etc.). The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial performance (P&L) of each assigned project. Experience in the Construction sector is essential, with C-Cure & Genetec knowledge an advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage all aspects of assigned projects , from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
- Oversee project budgets, forecasts, and financial performance (P&L accountability).
- Prepare, maintain, and update project plans, schedules, and resource allocation using SIMPRO and MS Projects .
- Liaise and coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient and effective project delivery.

Working Hours – Monday to Friday, 36 hours per week.
What you should bring to the role
- Preferably have a background in Engineering, such as Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
- Formal qualifications within these sectors are strongly encouraged. Ideally, holding at least a BTEC/HND in a relevant discipline or relevant experience.
- Or have knowledge of Clean Water Processing and/or Wastewater treatment.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders simultaneously. This includes internal colleagues, site employees and external contractors.
- Additionally, you will have the ability to work with minimum supervision, be self-motivated and driven, and use your initiative to deliver high-quality work.
- Understanding of Health and Safety standards, with particular reference to construction works, including CDM. However, additional training will be provided.
- Experience in Construction or Engineering Project Management.
- Offering up to £64,50 per annum, including car allowance, depending on experience and skills.

As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for managing bids, leading multidisciplinary teams, and driving project success across planning, finances, and quality. Your remit will span client engagement, risk management, continuous improvement, and ensuring high levels of productivity and profitability. Your profile
We are looking for a highly capable Project Manager with a strong engineering background and at least five years’ experience in project, programme, or bid management. The ideal candidate will have led complex, multi-functional teams and delivered transformation projects across the full engineering lifecycle, particularly within Defence or Cyber sectors. A solid grasp of project finances, risk management, and scheduling is essential, along with the ability to collaborate with clients during bids and digital transformation initiatives. Candidates should be degree-qualified (or equivalent), proficient in Microsoft Project, and eligible for SC Clearance. Experience in consultancy environments and knowledge of MOD procurement processes are desirable.
- Proven leadership in engineering projects across Air, Land, Maritime Defence or Cyber sectors
- Strong financial acumen including revenue recognition, margin improvement, and risk management
- Demonstrated client-facing consultancy experience during bids or transformation programmes
- Preferably experienced in MOD procurement, CAD/PLM projects, and consultancy environments
