Job Title: Engineering Manager- Hydrogen technology Location: London, UK About the Role We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager with a strong process engineering background to lead the technical delivery of our hydrogen projects – from early-stage lab concepts, through pilot plant operations, to full-scale commercial plant commissioning. You will oversee multidisciplinary engineering teams, work closely with R&D and operations, and ensure projects are executed on time, within budget, and to the highest safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the engineering function for hydrogen technology development and deployment. Oversee the technical progression of projects from lab-scale prototypes → pilot plants → commercial plant commissioning . Provide process engineering expertise in hydrogen production, storage, purification, or utilisation systems (e.g., electrolysis, fuel cells, ammonia cracking, etc.). Develop and review process flow diagrams (PFDs), piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), mass and energy balances, and other key engineering deliverables. Lead hazard and operability studies (HAZOP), safety reviews, and ensure compliance with UK and international standards for hydrogen systems.
