Key Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery and strategy of for the Local Public Services programme and wider Nations and Regions work, achieving and building financial targets for the programme in terms of membership recruitment, retention and events li>Implement an engaging programme of events and activities in the delivery of the programme including regional activity, topically related content and virtual event
- Lead engagement on an agreed region(s). This will include local government, combined authority and relevant partners and members in the region
- Help grow new workstreams in the Local Public Services programme and identify and engage with new stakeholders
- Undertake project work including research, development of articles and papers, running campaign activities, submissions to government consultations etc.

Additional Information:

Monitor through external examiner sampling and visit activities, centres' compliance with Pearson quality assurance expectations for RQF BTEC Higher National programmes
Support centres during the sampling process
Support centres in the delivery of BTEC Higher National programmes to national standards.

Provide sampling-related support and development to centres
Produce reports for centres and Pearson on the sampling undertaken, outcomes reached, and support provided

Produce targeted actions for centres to assist with remedial actions where national standards are not being upheld

**Previous Experience:** **Essential:**

Participation annually in online training and standardisation and successful completion of the set standardisation activity

Evidence of recent Continuous Professional Development (CPD) in the sector
