Our consultancy client is looking for a number of experienced application developers to work a client project within the commodities trading arena. You must have expertise in building applications on AWS using Python, Java and Neptune. AWS certifications is a must and any experience of supply chains within the commodities journey would be a huge benefit. The project is to increase the supply chain visibility of commodities from mine to port and to help them to better manage and optimise the ongoing shipment/ trades, reduce need to overstock and associated charges due to uncertainty of what and when materials will arrive in port, improving routings, etc. The system will ultimately cover further use cases and wider expansion across their global commodity supply chains with this stage looking at Unit Tracking and Pre-alert (Event Generation). For these roles you will need to be on the client site in London 3 days a week and the roles will be iniside IR35.
