The successful candidate will have a sales Management background, an excellent sales process and strong leadership and communication skills.
You must be able to travel into Birmingham City Centre 2 days per week.
Responsibilities & day to day duties
As a Sales Manager you will be responsible for:
- Lead and support Strategic Account Executives to exceed annual sales margin targets.
- Develop and deliver a robust sales strategy and detailed forecasting plan.
- Analyse KPIs and market trends to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Provide commercial insight on pricing, products, and sales performance.
- Improve and embed processes via CRM enhancements and SOPs.
- Guide your team through the full sales cycle—from lead to onboarding.
- Oversee customer forecasting, working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Recruit, develop, and manage a high-performing team in line with HR policies.
- Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Commercial, and Trading teams.
- Drive improvements in quoting, tendering, and campaign effectiveness.
Skills & experience required.
- Experience in a Sales Manager role, within any sector.
- Proven team management experience, with knowledge of HR legislation and performance management.
- Skilled in streamlining sales processes, overcoming objections, and presenting data effectively.
- Passionate about coaching teams to hit targets and grow individually.
- Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels.
- Hands-on, adaptable, and driven by integrity.
- Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word for clear, professional reporting.
