The Opportunity
As a Regional Sales Manager at Dechra, you will play a key role in driving the growth and success of our business by overseeing the sales and marketing of our veterinary pharmaceutical products within your assigned region. Role Responsibility
What will you be doing? This role has a broad and varied scope, and the successful candidate will have responsibilities including:
- Managing day-to-day field operations for the company.
- Recruting new sales team members with input from the National Sales Manager and General Manager.
- Ensuring ongoing training and development of the Territory Sales Managers.
- Meeting quarterly Minimum Performance Standards.
- Reviewing financial information with Territory Sales Managers to ensure alignment with company goals.
- Collaborating with the National Sales Manager and Marketing to develop and execute quarterly Plans of Action.
- Achieving sales targets and managing expenses within budget.
- Attending key national, regional, and provincial veterinary conferences.
- Performing other duties as required.
Responsabilités principales

- Travailler en étroite collaboration avec le gestionnaire national des ventes et l’équipe marketing pour élaborer et mettre en œuvre le plan d’action trimestriel.
- Atteindre les objectifs de vente et gérer les dépenses conformément au budget.
- Participer aux conférences vétérinaires clés au niveau national, régional et provincial.
- Assumer toute autre tâche ou projet selon les besoins.
The Ideal Candidate

- Bilingual.
- Animal Health Technician or University Degree preferred.
- Residing in Ontario or Quebec is ideal.
- 3-5 years of proven leadership managing a sales team in the Animal Health industry preferred.
- Strong selling skills; sales experience in the animal health industry is an asset.
- Experience in developing and executing territory business plans.
- Knowledge of veterinary practice operations and medical aspects.
- Strong analytical, technical, communication, and presentation skills.
- Highly motivated and passionate.
- Proficient with basic computer programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Willing to travel extensively within the territory and to regional/national events.
- Minimum of 3 years team management experience.

If you’re a natural when it comes to connecting with people – building relationships and understanding their needs – you could be a great fit for our Sales Advisor Apprenticeship.
At EE, we’re harnessing the power of technology to bring people together and change their lives for the better. Join our Merthyr Sales Team and you’ll play a part in this by talking to customers over the phone and helping them choose the right products and services. It’s a chance to make a meaningful impact in a fun, fast-moving environment.
You don’t need sales experience to join us. We look for people who are resilient and driven, who’ve proved they can achieve their targets at work. We’ll provide the comprehensive training you need to make sure you feel confident talking about our amazing tech products and services.
Alongside working, you will also complete a Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service as part of our Apprenticeship.
