We’re looking for a Programmer to join our award winning team in Middlesbrough (UK), home to the beautiful North Yorkshire coastline and countryside.
As a Programmer at Double Eleven, you’ll collaborate with experienced programmers, designers, and artists to deliver high-quality gameplay features and systems. You will work in both C++ and Blueprint Visual Scripting to implement mechanics, integrate assets, and develop tools that bring creative concepts to life. Your contributions will include fixing bugs, optimising performance, and ensuring the stability and polish of our projects, helping to shape the player experience from concept to final release.

What you’ll be doing
- Develop and maintain gameplay systems, tools, and UI features using Unreal Engine (C++ and Blueprints).
- Collaborate with designers and artists to translate creative concepts into functional game mechanics.
- Debug and optimise code for performance, scalability, and stability across platforms.
- Produce and maintain technical documentation for implemented systems, tools, and workflows.
- Participate in code reviews to uphold coding standards and mentor less experienced programmers.
- Work with Unreal Engine’s APIs, physics, AI, animation systems, and networking frameworks.
What we’re looking for
- Experience working in game development, including with Unreal Engine.
