As a Teaching Assistant, you will connect directly with the brilliant pupils and young people we care for, helping to make sure they get the very best from their education. You will help prepare learning materials and run classroom activities, with plenty of hands-on experience and some supervision too. You will take responsibility for their emotional and physical needs, supporting them to develop as individuals and engage with the world.

You will face challenges and overcome them as you flourish and thrive, sharing your skills and learning from others as your career takes you as high as you always dreamed you could go.

Every day will be different, but you will have all the support you need, with lots of skills and experience to draw on along with valuable advice and guidance too.

Who we are looking for

We would love to hear from candidates who have their GCSE C or above (or equivalent) in English and Maths.  Experience in an education setting and/or work with young people with additional learning needs is essential to this post.

You will be adaptable and ready to work in a variety of classroom roles, both indoors and outside according to individual need. Taking a responsive and caring approach, you may be running classroom activities, leading outdoor experiences or supervising pupils as they explore further afield.

About the role

You’ll work closely with the pastoral and leadership teams to support student wellbeing, behaviour, and attendance while delivering a meaningful Careers Education, Information, Advice and Guidance (CEIAG ) programme.

Your responsibilities will include:

Your skills and experiences:

  • Proven experience in the design and specification of rotating machinery, including gears, shafts, bearings, and couplings

  • Proficient in structural design using industry-standard software tools, with familiarity in relevant codes and standards such as PD5500 and ASME for pressure vessels, BS 7608 for fatigue analysis, and BS 5950 for structural design

  • Sound understanding of the engineering lifecycle, encompassing concept design, detailed design, manufacturing, testing and commissioning, operation, and end-of-life disposal

  • Chartered Engineer status or actively working toward professional accreditation

The Role  

This is customer service, so lets keep it simple. Would you love working in customer service? Do you want  unlimited   earning   potential  with a super simple,  uncapped   bonus scheme ?  

If so, we are looking for people like you to join our frontline Customer team as an advisor. You will be the  backbone  of our business by supporting and being there for our customers. Working in Customer Service , your job will be to show our existing customers why the  EE   family  is the right one for them.  

We are more than a  team  at EE; we are a   family , and this ethos includes our customers too. This means that your role will be to make sure our customers receive an exceptional and  personal  service every single time.    

Alongside working, you will also complete a Level 2 NVQ in Customer Service as part of our Apprenticeship.
