Experience working with mechanical /Electrical control systems, telemetry systems and general water industry plant maintenance would also be advantageous.

What does it take to be a Mechanical Maintenance Technician ?

To be successful in this role, you will have obtained an NVQ level 2 Mechanical engineering qualification (or equivalent), completed a relevant apprenticeship and hold a full UK driving licence.

• Level 2 Light Vehicle Maintenance qualification (or equivalent)
• At least 3 years fully qualified, hands-on experience as a vehicle technician on light vehicles
• A full UK driving licence with fewer than 6 points
• Flexibility to work at relatively short notice and open to travel with overnight stays, if necessary
