What do I need to bring to the role?
- HNC, City & Guilds or time-served apprentice with appropriate engineering qualifications
- Experience within a similar role ideally gained within a food manufacturing environment; if not food, experience within any manufacturing environment is highly valued
- Must be multi-skilled with a strong electrical background
- Experience with pneumatics, packaging machinery, and the ability to fault find is essential
- Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems is a strong advantage
- Flexible approach with a positive 'can-do' attitude
- Experience of SAP is a plus.

- Degree qualified or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
- Chartered Engineer or working towards chartership
- Knowledge of high power and medium voltage power systems and distributions
- Extensive experience in Power Systems Modelling
- Experience conducting electrical load budget and load flow analysis
- An understanding in power system analysis software tools (e.g., ETAP, Simulink/Simscape, MATLAB)
- Stakeholder management experience

The Electrical Verification Team:
As part of the Electrical Verification Team, you will be involved in the verification and validation of the power system, conducting analysis, and performing calculations to support the maturity and design of the electrical platform. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
