You will be reporting to the Group Financial Controller but with extensive engagement with the CFO, Business MDs and divisional Management.

Preparation of periodic management accounts and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts

Reviewing controls and processes, making improvements where necessary

Supporting, coaching, and developing the management accounts team

Providing support to the senior management team and finance business partners

Liaising with internal and external auditors

Experience of statutory accounts preparation and consolidations

Preparing and submitting VAT returns

Preparing and distributing daily, weekly and periodic reports, developing reports as required

Salary package of to £65,000 plus a generous benefits package and bonus.

What will you be doing?

  • Preparation and submission of the monthly accounts and journal preparation and posting.
  • Assisting with auditors.
  • Ensuring that group accounting processes are following across the division.

What skills are we looking for?

  • Qualified Accountant - ACCA or CIMA, 3 years post qualified.
  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written.
  • Plenty of experience with process improvement, confidence to implement new processes independently.
  • Experience with business partnering across departments with a range of staff (finance and non-finance).
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
