The Role
This position involves working across the full spectrum of digital/eForensic analysis. The successful candidate will be responsible for the acquisition and investigation of a wide range of electronic evidence and have 3 years’ experience in the field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquisition and examination of digital devices and electronic evidence
- Documentation and reporting of forensic findings in line with legal and procedural standards
- Supporting criminal, civil, or internal investigations
- Maintaining chain of custody and evidence integrity
- Potentially providing expert witness testimony
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Digital Forensic Analyst (three years preferred)
- Strong knowledge of digital hardware , file systems , and operating system artefacts
- Understanding of the legal frameworks and forensic principles surrounding electronic evidence
- Experience using forensic tools such as EnCase, FTK, X-Ways, Cellebrite, Magnet AXIOM , etc.
