Key Responsibilities:
- Produce high-quality 2D and 3D technical drawings and plans based on architectural and design specifications.
- Modify existing drawings and create detailed production instructions tailored to customer requirements.
- Set up bill of materials and product structures using the company's MRP system (training provided).
- Support the development and prototyping of new products in collaboration with the engineering team.
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and technical drawing interpretation.
- Proficiency in CAD software, ideally Autodesk AutoCAD, Fusion 360, and BIM.
- Competence in Microsoft Office for documentation and presentation.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to review and ensure drawing accuracy.
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational and time management skills to meet project deadlines.

They work with clients in construction, infrastructure, utilities, mining, and renewable energy, consistently delivering high-quality data and precise mapping solutions.
With extensive expertise and an expanding project portfolio, they are experiencing rapid growth and seeking a skilled talented AutoCAD Technician to join their team. You will transition in between the new startup company a new arm to the business. Working in between construction detailing and surveying drawings using CAD.
Responsibility & Duties
- Implement Work Instructions for project deliverables li>Produce and amend technical drawings using AutoCAD (2D & 3D)
- Support topographical, land, and measured building surveys
- Assist in post-processing survey data and generating CAD models
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and project teams as AutoCAD Technician
- Ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards
Experience & Qualification
- 2+ years of experience in AutoCAD for construction or surveying projects
- Experience with N4ce (desirable but not essential)
- Proficient in using survey instruments – GPS, Total Stations, Leica 3D scanner < i>Strong understanding of 2D & 3D AutoCAD drafting
- Background in civil engineering, construction, or surveying preferred
- Experience as a AutoCAD Technician li>Full UK Driving License required
