**What are T Levels?**
T Levels follow GCSEs and will be equivalent to three A levels. These two-year courses have been developed in collaboration with employers and businesses, so that the content meets the needs of industry and prepares students for work. T Levels offer students a mixture of classroom learning and 'on-the-job' experience during an industry placement of at least 45 days. They provide the knowledge and experience needed to open the door into skilled employment, further study or a higher apprenticeship.
**The Role**
The T Level Examiner role is an excellent opportunity to earn some extra money in a part-time role, alongside any full-time commitments you may have, whilst also developing your career in education. T-Level Examiners mark candidate responses in accordance with a pre-defined mark scheme, whilst adhering to the Code of Practice and published examination procedures. Assessments will be marked either onscreen using ePEN, which can be completed from home, or by the traditional method, using paper scripts sent through the post. A high level of contemporary subject knowledge is necessary in order to apply the mark scheme. Each examiner will receive an agreed allocation of scripts. We have opportunities available to mark Core Examination and Employer Set Project.

**Responsibilities**
·To mark accurately and consistently to ensure overall standards are maintained.
·To submit samples to your Team Leader at designated times.
·To ensure milestones for marking are adhered to.
·To ensure all administration is completed as specified.
·To attend standardisation
·To regularly mark scripts during the Summer Series and/or Autumn Series
**Qualifications**
**Essential**
·You will have a degree or equivalent work-based qualification such as a Level 5/6/7 NVQ in a media related field.
·Be fully conversant with current media production processes and practices.
**Desirable**
·You will be a qualified teacher or hold an equivalent teaching qualification such as Cert Ed, C&G 7404, PTTLLS, CTLLS, DTLLS or an Assessor/Verifier award.
**Competencies Required**
·You will have the ability to work well under pressure
·You will have the ability to meet deadlines
·You will have a high level of subject knowledge in order to apply the mark scheme

The Scope
As Product Manager within the Media and Broadcast team and as part of the wider BT Wholesale business you would be responsible for the TV Outside Broadcast product set and the mentoring, coaching and line management of one direct report.
Responsibilities will include owning, developing and implementing strategy, new product development, managing the profit & loss of the products, bid management, in-life development and commercial management.

What you’ll be doing
- Owning the business case for new products and the P & L for existing products portfolio
- Identifying and implementing plans to achieve ambitious goals and overcome obstacles
- Leading, developing and managing the products to optimise long run contribution over the product life cycles
- Owning the product plan, pricing strategy, development budget and road map Managing other portfolio/product managers to build a high performing culture, along with setting direction for a virtual team across the business

Experience needed to be successful in the role
- End to end product lifecycle management: exceptional product lifecycle management skills from concept to market with the ability to quickly build and assess new concepts as well as managing in life developments.
- Industry knowledge: previous experience within the broadcast industry, ideally with a working knowledge of Outside Broadcasting.
- Customer empathy: able to understand and translate technical requirements into business outcomes to solve business problems. Championing the customer needs to provide business value
- Business and commercial acumen: Strong business and commercial experience including detailed understanding P&L management; able to build compelling business cases based on customer and data driven insights and assumptions
- Pricing strategy : extensive experience off setting pricing strategies to maximise the impact of products with in the market. Building pricing, discounts, bundles and offers
- Financial Management: P&L management; managing all aspects of the revenue and costs line and ownership, directing the cost base to optimise business performance.
- Risk Management: ability to proactively identify reputational and commercial risk to BT; develop and deliver against mitigation plans.
- Negotiation skills : strong negotiator in complex commercial transactions with ability to achieve mutually satisfying outcomes for BT and its customers.

**Overview of the role**
Moderators are responsible for moderating centres' assessment of candidates' work in accordance with the agreed assessment criteria and the awarding organisation's procedures.
