Cloud Architect - Upto £75,000 - Hybrid 2 days a week in Leeds City Centre


Join a growing technology services business that delivers cloud, security, and digital transformation solutions for clients across the UK and beyond. This is a senior, hands-on role leading the design, delivery, and operational management of secure, scalable cloud solutions.


What you’ll do:

  • Architect and deliver cloud security and infrastructure solutions across Azure, AWS, and Cloudflare (or equivalent).
  • Provide hands-on support for BAU, incident resolution, and operational improvements.
  • Lead the design and configuration of Cloudflare services, including WAF, CDN, DDoS protection, Zero Trust, and Anycast networks.
  • Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform and maintain CI/CD, automation, and monitoring workflows.
  • Act as a technical authority, mentoring team members and guiding best practices.


What you need:

  • Strong experience with Cloudflare or equivalent platforms, Azure (PaaS/IaaS), and Terraform.
  • Knowledge of AWS, hybrid/multi-cloud environments, networking fundamentals, DevOps practices, and scripting (Python/PowerShell).
  • Client-facing experience, able to translate business needs into technical solutions.
  • SC-level UK Government clearance (or ability to obtain).


Nice-to-haves:

  • Containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), cloud cost optimisation (FinOps), cloud security frameworks, and Cloudflare developer platform experience.
  • Certifications: Cloudflare Certified, Microsoft Azure (AZ-104/AZ-305), AWS Solutions Architect.

What you'll do
- Use your deep knowledge of Azure cloud services to design resilient, scalable and secure cloud environments covering the full breadth of the Azure platform
- Design and implement Azure Landing Zones to establish a scalable, secure and compliant foundation for deploying cloud services.
- Lead complex migrations for on-premises infrastructure, applications, and databases to Azure.
- Develop solutions for Edge and Hybrid scenarios by integrating Azure Stack and other technologies to extend Azure capabilities to on-premises environments and edge devices.

- Deep understanding of cloud platform services, cloud-native architectures, and cloud infrastructure

- Relevant experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting in Media, Entertainment or Gaming industry.

Preferred Qualifications

- Practical knowledge of Agile project management and software development methodologies such as Scrum and SAFe

- Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud and/or operating solutions built on AWS

- Expertise in DevOps, Big Data, Machine Learning, or Serverless Computing

- Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, IT Management, and developers. Experience in Infrastructure automation through DevOps scripting (E.g. shell, Python, Ruby, Powershell)
