Role Overview:

We are looking for a versatile and talented Graphic Designer to take ownership of the design and creation of both static and dynamic visual content that aligns with the company's identity and workplace designs.

You will be working closely with all teams across the business. The role blends graphic design, motion design, and UX design to deliver cohesive, engaging, and user-friendly experiences across digital, interactive and print platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Graphic Design: Design and produce graphics focusing on layout, typography, infographics, and other assets for RFP responses, credentials presentations, and project-related documents. These can be static or animated, depending on presentation style and preference and client requirements.
  • Motion Design: Transform static content into dynamic visuals using animations, videos, and interactive features within the Adobe Suite or other web/animation software.
  • UX Design: Ensure the usability and functionality of digital products, prioritising intuitive, accessible, and user-friendly experiences.
  • Print-Based Graphic Design: Design and prepare artwork for printed materials, including books, boards, brochures, posters, and flyers. Additionally, create artwork for large-scale projects such as wayfinding, manifestations, hoardings, and other large graphics. Work within budget constraints and collaborate with external print vendors to ensure the high-quality production of physical design materials.

Essential Skills & Experience:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience in graphic design, motion design, or UX design within a professional office environment; a relevant degree or higher education qualification is preferred.
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, motion design tools, web design platforms and UX design tools.
* Strong creativity and innovation: Ability to push boundaries and create visually engaging and functional design solutions.
* Attention to detail: A keen eye for quality, accuracy, and consistency in both design and written content (correct spelling and grammar).
* Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple projects under pressure, particularly for client-facing materials and tenders.

What you will do

This role combines graphic design with elements of product design, visual communication, and information design.

You'll take our newly rolled out brand and help us bring it to life on the web and in print, supporting our growth plans across multiple sectors, locations and disciplines. 1. Creative Production:

  • Design and produce campaign creative, website graphics and sales collateral across web, documents and print
  • Explore and refine visual formats to promote Public Digital and share the work we do
  • Support others at Public Digital to visually communicate their work and ideas

2. Brand and Digital Asset Management:

  • Develop and iterate brand materials, ensuring consistency across various platforms and media
  • Ability to refine and evolve the brand guidelines as needed, in collaboration with the marketing and design teams 
  • Manage and organise digital assets (such as images, logos, templates)
  • Implement systems for easy access and use of these assets within the team
  • Ensure assets are up-to-date and align with brand guidelines across web, social media, and internal documents

3. Making design more accessible for everyone:

  • Collaborate with consultants to create re-usable assets (such as playbooks, workshop templates, and visual models)
  • Support consultants to present their work to a high standard, whether in reports, slide decks, or Miro boards
  • Work with our consulting designers, to enable non-designers across PD to do design well

We’re backed by a leading U.S. based VC with deep expertise in building e-commerce powerhouses, including brands like Ruggable, Dr. Squatch, and Fabletics.

ROLE SUMMARY

We’re looking for a creative, mid-senior weight Graphic Designer with deep e-commerce experience and a passion for design that drives impact. You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping DROOL’s visual identity, crafting scroll-stopping ads that fuel growth, and bringing creative flair to in-house artworks. This is an opportunity to make your mark at a fast-scaling brand that blends culture, commerce, and creativity.

You'll collaborate with the Creative Strategist, media buyer and content creator to deliver engaging, conversion-focused designs for Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and TikTok. In addition to creating adhoc graphics for our e-commerce website, email campaigns and PR/marketing initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue-driving social media ads:

  • Concept and design high-performing, visually compelling social media ad assets that resonate with each of our global audiences.
  • Collaborate with the wider team to deliver best-in-class designs aligned with our seasonal calendar, product drops, and promotional campaigns.
  • Leverage AI-powered design tools to accelerate production.
  • Monitor platform trends, competitor ads, and audience engagement to inspire new creative concepts.
  • Lead, mentor, and inspire our roster of freelance designers to ensure consistent, high-quality creative output.

Brand development:

  • Drive the evolution of DROOL’s brand system and visual identity across all channels.
  • Act as brand guardian, ensuring consistency in tone, style, and execution across every creative touchpoint.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Graphic Designer in the e-commerce industry (3+ years preferred).
  • Exceptional portfolio with a proven ability to balance creativity with performance-driven design.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, and colour theory.
  • A proactive mindset to take your own initiative, with the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
Additional preferred skills/experience
  • Experience with motion graphics, video editing, or 3D design tools.
  • Passion for e-commerce, consumer retail and/or digital marketing is a plus
