Manpower is hiring on behalf of our national client for HGV Drivers, working on a Full-time basis in Normanton, WF6 1RW .
Our client is a third-party provider of transportation and logistics services that offers a range of services from, Drayage, Global freight forwarding & Full truckload transport. The company is committed to environmental sustainability and works with customers to create action plans to reduce emissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive Class 2 vehicles for local and regional deliveries
- Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain compliance with VOSA standards
- Use handheld scanners for tracking deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery records and documentation
- Ensure excellent customer service during each drop-off or collection
What you need to succeed with our client:
- Valid Class 2 license
- Valid CPC and Digital Tacho Card
- No more than 6 penalty points on your license and no DD, DR, IN or CD endorsements.
- Multidrop delivery experience.
- Excellent knowledge of the UK road network
- A can-do attitude

Delivering items to customers, drop amount would vary each day.
Loading and unloading the van ensuring items are palletised / strapped safely and securely.
General warehouse duties such as picking and packing, stock replenishment, etc.
This role is a full time, permanent position working Monday to Friday between 7am - 5pm (varies).

Drive a 7.5T vehicle to complete multi-drop deliveries across London, ensuring goods are delivered accurately and on time.
Deliver exceptional customer service by building strong relationships and acting as a professional ambassador for the Wolseley brand.
Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and company standards.
Load and unload goods, which may involve manual handling and lifting of heavy items.
This is a full-time, permanent role working 40 hours per week Monday to Friday 6.30am - 3pm. No weekend working required!

A Driver Qualification Card (CPC)
Previous experience in multi-drop deliveries using a 7.5T vehicle
