We are currently working alongside one of our clients based in, Maydown/Lishally, Londonderry that prides itself on delivering excellent service to its customers. As business grows, they are looking for reliable and motivated Cleaner to support them 2 days per week . This role is an on-going temporary role.
Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Cleaner is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organised warehouse environment. This role ensures all areas of the warehouse, including storage spaces, staff facilities, and communal areas, are kept to high hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Carry out daily cleaning duties across the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and waste removal.
Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed to meet health and safety and hygiene regulations.
Clean staff areas such as restrooms, canteens, and offices within the warehouse.
Replenish cleaning supplies and inform management when stock is low.
Safely operate cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or repair needs.
Dispose of rubbish and recycling in line with company policies.
Support with deep cleaning tasks when required.
Follow health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.
Key Skills & Attributes:
Previous cleaning experience (preferably in a warehouse, industrial, or large commercial environment).
Knowledge of cleaning practices and safe use of cleaning chemicals.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Reliable, punctual, and hardworking with a proactive attitude.
Awareness of health and safety standards.
Pay Rate: 12.21 per hour, Weekly paid.
Working Hours: Tuesday & Friday, or a Monday & Thursday. 2 hours per day.
