Job responsibilities:

• Site installation, commissioning, training, hand-over, start-up and repair and diagnostic activities.
• This role would suit somebody from an electrical background (commercial or domestic), who is skilled in electrical installs. We'd like you to have your 18th Edition and Certificate of Testing & Inspection (or be working towards those).
• This is a key customer facing position and we're seeking a competent and highly motivated hands-on individual to ensure that our products are installed, commissioned, and validated in accordance with requirements.
• Day to day, you'll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders ensure the projects needs are met and our stakeholders are satisfied.
• You'll be reviewing and completing the relevant documentation in the 'Commissioning Pack', such as the Functional Design Specification (FDS); Test Plans; Input / Output Schedule; System Architecture, and Software Application Revision, as well as test certificates, commissioning documentation and fault sheets relating to each contract.
• You'll take care of your own 'site diary' to keep track of activities and key events during the day and safely ensure Site Acceptance Tests are carried out, investigating or reporting any repairs or faults as required.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Relevant/similar site work experience within a customer-based or customer focused environment.
• Multidiscipline Electrical Bias.
• Good IT skills.
• Solid report writing skills.
• Health and Safety awareness.
• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 & 3 qualification in a relevant electrical discipline.
• Certificate of Testing & Inspection (or working towards).
• 18th Edition (or working towards).
• ECS Card (Graft Card) or equivalent.

Mane Infrastructure are on the look for a JIB Electrician to work on a Thames Water Treatment project located in the Twickenham area. (TW7)

Applicants will be required to work as part of a team on a industrial installation work scope across the project. Desired applicants will have experience with heavy duty conduit installations, ladder racking etc.

Desired applicants will be familiar with process works (instruments and motors), from SWA cabling and heavy duty containment. To lighting and power distribution.

Due to the nature of this project, applicants must hold a valid Thames Water Passport or EUSR Water Hygiene Passport. Other minimum requirements would be a valid JIB gold card (install or approved graded).

Working Hours:
Monday - 08:00am till 18:00pm (9.5hrs paid)
Tuesday to Thursday - 07:00am till 18:00pm (10.5hrs paid)

This is a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician with a background in either Commercial or Industrial environments to be a part of a stable Mobile-team in a position that will maintain, install, service and repair electrical and mechanical equipment between branches and customers sites.

Main Responsibilities:

• Install, service, and repair electrical/mechanical pump sets, both in-house and customer units, in line with relevant standards
li>Perform electrical installations in compliance with I.E.E. Wiring Regulations, Electrical Contracting Industry rules, and site safety protocols
• Prepare job reports and repair estimates, advising on safety issues where necessary
• Maintain and complete Risk Assessment/Method Statements for all works
• Ensure strict adherence to site-specific Health & Safety procedures
• Carry out wiring and testing in line with C&G 2382 (18th Edition) Wiring Regulations
• Interpret technical drawings, specs, and site requirements – ensuring the correct materials are available
< i>Represent the business professionally on customer sites, maintaining high levels of service and communication
• Maintain tidy vehicles, equipment, and workspaces
• Attend call-outs as part of the on-call rota (1 in 6 weeks) and respond to urgent site issues when required

Qualifications & Experience:

• ECS Gold Card (Installation Electrician)
• AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2) or equivalent
• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)
• Demonstrable experience working as an Electrician in an industrial or commercial setting
• Knowledge of electrical and mechanical repair – ideally in pumps, construction, or utilities
< i>Full UK driving licence (no more than 6 points)
