Job Description
IT Project Manager for an established, growing IT MSP. Diverse Infrastructure & Cloud project across various sectors! Apply now!
IT Project Manager – Fast-Paced IT Consultancy with Portfolio Management Focus
Location: Central London (Hybrid)
Salary: £60,000 – £80,000 DOE + Bonus + Private Healthcare
Are you an experienced Project Manager who thrives on variety, enjoys working independently, and loves the challenge of a dynamic environment?
We’re recruiting for a respected IT consultancy that delivers expert solutions to SME clients across multiple industry sectors including finance and commercial property.
This Project Manager opportunity offers the chance to oversee a substantial portfolio of technology initiatives spanning infrastructure projects (including modernisation and office relocations), cloud transformation programmes, and security implementation projects. You’ll be coordinating schedules, managing resources, and maintaining client relationships across an active project workload – typically handling 15 to 25 projects at any time – ensuring smooth delivery and consistent client communication.
You’ll collaborate with a skilled delivery team, working closely with technical specialists and client relationship managers to uphold quality standards and meet project milestones. Excellence in this Project Manager role demands strong ownership mentality, adaptability when priorities shift, and a results-driven approach to problem-solving and delivery.
This isn’t a conventional “one project focus” position. You’ll need to excel at juggling multiple competing demands whilst engaging effectively with both technical team members and executive-level client stakeholders. A working knowledge of infrastructure, networking, or cloud technologies would be beneficial, though extensive technical depth isn’t necessary — just sufficient understanding to facilitate meaningful discussions and confidently guide projects to successful completion.
We’re seeking a Project Manager who can demonstrate:
• IT Managed Services Experience would be highly desirable
• Professional qualifications (e.g. PRINCE2 or similar)
• Proficiency with project management platforms such as Microsoft Project, Planner, Monday, or equivalent tools
• Experience orchestrating multiple concurrent projects within technology-focused environments
• Outstanding communication abilities and systematic approach to task and stakeholder coordination
• Comfort engaging with technical and business professionals across all organisational levels
• Strong planning capabilities and intuition for identifying potential delivery challenges
• Background in IT service delivery or managed service provider settings (highly advantageous)
This presents an excellent opportunity for a Project Manager who performs well under pressure, enjoys collaborative cross-functional work, and seeks broader exposure to diverse clients and technical project types.
