About the Role
Located ideally North of Nottingham into Scotland.
As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, negotiating and securing strategically placed land opportunities for Electric Vehicle (EV) Stations and ancillary uses to support the shift towards electric mobility. This role is vital in assisting the company to meet their ambitious expansion plans, providing the necessary land to fuel the sustainable future.
This role will be instrumental in ensuring that the land acquisition process is executed efficiently, within budget, and in line with the company’s broader expansion goals. By managing relationships with landlords, developers, and agents, and coordinating with internal teams, you will be essential in ensuring the timely delivery of projects and the success of the company's EV infrastructure development.
In this role as Land Acquisition Manager, one of your key responsibilities will be to guide land acquisition projects through Source's internal governance process. This process ensures that all projects are thoroughly evaluated, compliant, and have the necessary approvals in place for successful execution.
What do I need to be successful for the role?:
- Knowledge of the UK property market, planning regulations and property acquisitions process
- Self-motivation to seek/secure new opportunities to ensure business targets are met
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to represent the company in external negotiations and discussions.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work within established timelines.
- Attention to detail to ensure all documentation, legal terms, and approvals are correctly handled
- Existing relationships with landlords/ developers, as well as a strong network of agency contacts
- Strong business acumen with the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
Required skills, experience and qualifications
- Proven experience in land acquisition, real estate or property development sector
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in real estate, Property Management or related field with MRICS accreditation is preferred
- MRICS Qualified with a minimum of 1 years PQE
Salary & Benefits :
We offer a competitive salary & entitlements, car allowance plus excellent healthcare, pension and wellbeing benefits, along with generous Life Insurance & Group Income Protection Insurance. Annual holiday of 26 days contractual leave, plus bank holidays, with enhanced maternity/paternity leave and benefits.
Location: Field Based. Although you must be prepared to travel to our Canary Wharf office in London and other business locations and sites as required in the UK.
This role is offered on a permanent Full-Time basis of 37 hours per week, 5 days per week Monday to Friday. Whilst this role requires consistent hours due to operational demands, we are open to discussing options in accordance with our ‘Flexible First’ guidelines.
