Locum Occupational Therapist – Chronic Illness Service (Part-Time, 3 Days/Week)

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team on a locum basis within our Chronic Illness Service . This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful difference to individuals managing long-term health conditions by supporting their independence, function, and quality of life.

Role Details:

• Location: Kent

About the Role:

We are currently seeking skilled and confident Occupational Therapists to support neurodevelopmental assessments for Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) . You will play a key role in delivering structured assessments using tools such as ADOS , QbTest , ACE , and DIVA , contributing fully to clinical review, report writing, and multidisciplinary team (MDT) discussions.

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in Occupational Therapy
• At least 2 years’ experience delivering structured neurodevelopmental assessments (e.g., ADOS, DIVA)
• Formal training in relevant diagnostic tools, such as:
• ADOS (via Pearson or Hogrefe)
• ACE / DIVA / QbTest
• Sound knowledge of neurodevelopmental presentations, particularly Autism and ADHD
• Comfortable conducting both remote and in-person assessments
