- Utilising our in-house systems to record customer data and incident details in a timely, accurate and easy to understand
- Delivering the top-class level of customer service that our members expect from the AA, ensuring every piece of information is given in a simple, understandable manner
- Mechanical Qualifications: You’ll hold your NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or an equivalent, appropriate qualification alongside substantial, demonstrable experience in the Motor Vehicle Repair Industry.
- A Fixer/Problem Solver You will revel in utilising your technical expertise to help solve a variety of issues, you’ll find solutions to blockers and get our customers moving again
- A Master Communicator: Taking complex technical information and communicating it in a simple and effective way is your superpower! You’ll give customers and Patrols the confidence that whatever the issue, you can help them
- Flexible: Breakdowns and car trouble aren’t limited to between 9-5, and neither are you. You understand and are happy to work outside normal hours, on a roster basis that includes weekends

Role of an Automotive Operative:
- Pick, check, store and pack automotive goods either manually or using RDT technology to a high standard of accuracy
- Pump trucking stacks of full totes and sorting to the department
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded onto cages
- Load and unload trailers safely and in line with company procedures
- Report any errors, damages or quality issues found whilst undertaking duties
- You will be working with products like car doors, bonnets, hoods and oils
- Frequent heavy lifting required
- Work to standard operating procedures in line with company policy
- Maintain high levels of Health and Safety awareness and report any areas of concern immediately
- Assist with inventory counting and stock investigations when necessary

The Role:
We are looking for an experienced RF Systems and Product Test Engineer, ideally from an automotive background, to take ownership of testing, analysing, and optimising RF-based systems and products.
You will develop and execute test plans to ensure quality, performance, and compliance, working closely with internal engineering teams, third-party developers, and specialist test houses.
This is a remote-based role with regular travel to our warehouse in West Drayton (Middlesex) to carry out hands-on testing.
