Senior Automation Test Analyst  

Location: Bromley, Kent  

Salary: up to £65,000  

Fixed Term Contract 12 months  

As our Senior Automation Test lead on a 12 month Fixed term Contract you will work with the manual QA Test team, Business Analysts & Developers in order to automate tests for Key Product Workflows as part of Functional, Integration, and Regression Testing. 

You will be responsible for ensuring software quality by testing, produced using Structured Testing Methods and existing frameworks in order to execute automated test suites to find defects, through Sprint, Integration and Regression testing activities prior to the release. 

Your day to day will include: 

• p>Guide the team in daily automation testing activities, be a source of automation best practice knowledge, resolve immediate testing issues and blockers and escalate such things where necessary via the QA & Test Manager 

• Support development and enrichment of automated regression testing tools 

• Analysis of existing manual tests in order to automate them and create full flowing test suites that have superb error handling and trapping in-built 

• Analysis of specifications and user stories working with testers, business analysts, system designers and development to ensure correct test conditions 

• Identifying appropriate and comprehensive test data requirements 

• Executing tests in a timely manner, raising and managing defects in a way that demonstrates quality of information is paramount

Mobile Software QA Engineer (Hybrid Mobile App Testing)

We are looking for someone to help us to test the mobile apps that bring our industry-leading interfaces to life.  If you have answered yes to both questions above, we’d love to hear from you!

What you will be doing:

Reporting to the Software QA Manager, you will be working as part of a small development team to ensure the successful delivery of new mobile software to our users.

You will continue to evolve good practice in the planning and documentation of app testing within an agile development environment, and in the appropriate use of automated testing. Contributing to the continual evolution of our test approaches and tools will be a key part of your role.

You will work closely with the rest of the QA Team, as well as Software Developers, Product Designers, Product Owners, and Scrum Masters from across our Engineering Department. 

Key activities include:

• Supporting a culture of shared ownership for software quality and helping to maintain focus on our customers’ quality expectations.
• Facilitating the creation of robust, well documented, and maintainable functional, non-functional, and user acceptance tests, as well as writing and executing them yourself
• Writing automated end-to-end tests to enable more efficient regression testing.
• Documenting and reporting test results, working closely with software developers to address any issues.

An ideal candidate is likely to be: 

• From a professional mobile app (preferably hybrid) testing background
• An advocate for Test Driven Development, comfortable writing automated end-to-end tests (preferably in JavaScript or TypeScript).
• Familiar with git-based workflows (pull requests, rebasing, etc.) and the principles of Continuous Integration (CI).
• Self-motivated, with a track record of improving test processes and coverage.
• A clear communicator, used to working in an Agile development team.
• Methodical and rigorous, with a logical approach to problem solving.
• Passionate and knowledgeable about music, audio technology, and recording.

Experience of some of the following would also be useful: 

• Common JavaScript frameworks, preferably React
• App Development/Test Tools, e.g. Appium, fastlane, TestFlight, adb, etc

Anderselite are currently working with a tier 1 contractor who are seeking a QA Manager to join their Major Infrastructure division.

This £80M framework involves the remediation of the existing site and construction of roads, bridges and flood mitigation measures as well as electricity, gas, communications, water connections and hectares of new landscaped parkland areas.

- Lead all quality assurance activities across the major infrastructure project
- Understand and implement both company and Client quality management systems
- Prepare the Quality Plan to meet requirements of both quality systems and review and revise as necessary, for each phase of the project.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the client on quality issues
- Establish Project Quality Objectives and KPIs
- Establish a system of Quality Control on the project and to manage that system at all levels. This includes establishing handover structure from the outset of the project and measuring progress.
- Prepare a list of Management System Documentation applicable to the project, and keep this up to date as the project progresses.
- Advise on the preparation of other project documents, such as Project Environmental Management Plan, Project Health & Safety Management Plan, Project Cost Plan, Project Risk Management Plan, etc, and to ensure these documents are prepared by appropriate members of the project team for each phase of the project, and reviewed and revised as necessary.
- Carry out quality system audits on all suppliers, including design consultants
