Role: Our Project Engineers and Senior Project Engineers will have the ability to work on a variety of project scopes including, offshore wind (fixed and floating), and subsea cables (transmission and distribution) projects. Primary Roles & Responsibilities include:- Leading assigned project engineering and package management deliverables on international projects.

- Must have demonstrable expertise in the offshore renewables sector and detailed understanding of engineering and operational deliverables through project development, delivery and operations & maintenance. Knowledge of CDM would be a bonus.
- Ability to communicate at all levels in the organisation and to key stakeholders out with the organisation.
- A can do proactive attitude with a proven history of interfacing and collaborating across multi-discipline teams to support decision making and due diligence process and achieve outcomes.

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer, reporting to the Site CAPEX Manager, will provide overall coordination for several projects. This role will be supported by the wider program delivery team, including discipline engineers, project controls, construction engineers and planners.
The Project Manager shall be accountable for the safe and timely delivery of Johnson Matthey Projects at Royston. This includes oversight of all project management activities and end-end project development activities by means of effective governance, monitoring, execution and control.
The incumbent is also responsible for developing and implementing successful execution strategies with internal JM functions and 3rd party firms to achieve project completions on time, within budget, and at the required levels of quality, considering safety and reliability.
As the job title, you will help drive our goals by:
- Develop and execute the project execution plan and work with/coordinate the nominated resources (multi-discipline teams - MDT) and resource providers to deliver design, procurement, construction, handover and commissioning.
- Coordinating the project team (MDT) to achieve scope delivery, project budgets, schedule and project risk to ensure a safe start up.
- Preparation of integrated project execution baseline schedules and updating as required through the project lifecycle in line with JM planning guidelines.
- In partnership with JM procurement function, managing contracts including facilitating negotiations with contractors and suppliers, preparation of technical Bid evaluations and commercial bid evaluations for award.
- Plan and monitor the review and approval of key engineering, procurement and construction documents to achieve the baseline schedules.
- In conjunction with the project controls group, administer robust Project Controls as per JM requirements (weekly reports, schedule adherence, and cost forecasts/variances,).
Key skills that will help you succeed in this role :
- Degree-qualified, or relevant experience in and engineering subject and experience on highly hazardous projects
- Demonstrated experience in framing and coordinating suppliers and engineering, procurement companies
- Demonstrated experience with accountability for safety critical activities such as Highly Hazardous projects in engineering, construction and or commissioning.
- Demonstrated experience in delivering small projects in a complex, multi-stakeholder brownfield site with continuously operated process facilities.
- Demonstrated experience in working with Business and or Operations and Maintenance staff to ensure Business / operational requirements are defined and met within the available project budget
