JOB – SolidWorks Composer

LOCATION – Dartford

TERM – Permanent

SALARY – £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)

My client is a specialist manufacturer of engineered products supplying into multiple sectors. They are looking to recruit a SolidWorks Composer to join their growing team in Dartford .

The SolidWorks Composer will ideally have the following attributes:

• Strong experience using SolidWorks Composer to produce technical documentation, assembly guides, and manuals
• Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
• Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate content
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with design, engineering, and production teams

The SolidWorks Composer role will involve:

• Creating high-quality visual documentation for assemblies, installations, and maintenance procedures
• Producing animated sequences, exploded views, and interactive technical content
• Liaising with design engineers to ensure accuracy of visual materials
• Updating and maintaining product documentation in line with design changes
• Ensuring all work complies with company and industry standards

Typical responsibilities include - 

• New product design / engineering / 3D modelling / visualization / 2D drawings for manufacture.
li>Working with R&D, Quality, Operations departments and suppliers, establishing manufacturing controls, testing procedures and quality documentation.

Design Engineer – Radstock (Onsite)

Looking for a role where no two days are the same? We’re working with a specialist fabrication business in Radstock who need a Design Engineer to join their growing team.

You’ll be using SolidWorks to bring bespoke projects to life, from sheet metal and fabrication designs to one-off customer solutions. If you enjoy problem-solving, variety, and seeing your ideas turn into reality on the shop floor, this could be a great fit.
