JOB – SolidWorks Composer
LOCATION – Dartford
TERM – Permanent
SALARY – £35,000 to £45,000 per annum (plus benefits)
My client is a specialist manufacturer of engineered products supplying into multiple sectors. They are looking to recruit a SolidWorks Composer to join their growing team in Dartford .
The SolidWorks Composer will ideally have the following attributes:
- Strong experience using SolidWorks Composer to produce technical documentation, assembly guides, and manuals
- Previous experience working in an engineering or manufacturing environment
- Proficiency with SolidWorks 3D CAD
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and BOMs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, accurate content
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with design, engineering, and production teams
The SolidWorks Composer role will involve:
- Creating high-quality visual documentation for assemblies, installations, and maintenance procedures
- Producing animated sequences, exploded views, and interactive technical content
- Liaising with design engineers to ensure accuracy of visual materials
- Updating and maintaining product documentation in line with design changes
- Ensuring all work complies with company and industry standards

- Willingness to lead a small team of designers
- Commutable distance to Worthing, whether this is hybrid or remote with occasional visits
