**Role Overview**
We are seeking a skilled Automation Test Engineer to join our dynamic team in Digital Services and Analytics (DS&A). The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Manual & automation testing, particularly with Selenium, and experience in Java programming. Familiarity with cloud technologies and DevOps practices is a plus for this role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scenarios based on project requirements and design specifications
+ Execute test cases and conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure product quality
+ Identify, record, document, and track software defects and collaborate with the development team to resolve issues
+ Work closely with software developers to understand product architecture and technical requirements
+ Contribute to the development and maintenance of automated testing frameworks and tools
+ Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings
+ Provide clear and concise feedback to the development team regarding product quality and potential areas for improvement
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products
+ Stay abreast of industry best practices, tools, and technologies related to software testing and quality assurance.
**Preferred Skills and Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
+ Proven experience as a Software Test Engineer or similar role
+ Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
+ Experience in creating test plans, test cases, and test scripts
+ Proficiency in both manual and automated testing tools and frameworks
+ Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C++ Exposure to Selenium, IntelliJ, GITHUB, JMeter
+ Knowledge of agile development methodologies and practices
+ Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
+ Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
+ Strong communication and collaboration abilities
+ Attention to detail and a passion for ensuring software quality
+ Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
**Desirable Qualifications:**
+ Proficiency in Test Automation tools like Selenium Webdriver, SmartBear Test complete, GitLab, IntelliJ & TestNG Framework.
+ Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, LoadRunner).
+ Knowledge of API testing and tools (e.g., Postman, RestAssured).
+ Familiarity with Test Management tools like Microfocus ALM.
+ Familiarity with Agile methodologies and practices.
