About the Role

Your Responsibilities
- Lead and support a team of 21 staff, including 19 drivers and 2 office-based coordinators.
- Manage a fleet of 21 vehicles, ensuring all are roadworthy, compliant, and efficiently utilised.
- Oversee around 250 deliveries each day, primarily across London and the South East, with occasional national routes.
- Champion best practices and work towards achieving FORS Bronze and Silver standards.
- Monitor operational budgets and ensure cost-effective service delivery.
- Maintain full compliance with transport legislation and health & safety protocols.
- Promote a collaborative and motivated team culture through coaching and development.
- Identify opportunities to streamline delivery routes and reduce fuel usage.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through accurate, timely deliveries.
- Support sustainability goals by reducing environmental impact across operations.
- Respond to and manage incidents, ensuring appropriate follow-up and resolution.
