What you’ll be doing:

• Conducting analysis and evaluation of submarine platforms manoeuvring performance from concept design to in-service support

• Undertaking development, verification and validation of mathematical manoeuvring model using physical model test data

• Generation of Safe Manoeuvring Envelopes and supporting associated operator guidance

• You will be working with enterprise partners to develop the modelling capability, processes and toolsets for use to support our major programmes

Essential:

The role:   

We are looking for an Occupational Therapist to join our in-house clinical team at Barton School and expand our occupational therapy offer. Working collaboratively with the education team, you will deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy assessment and intervention to pupils who may have experienced developmental trauma, be neurodivergent or have SEMH needs. You will work within the standards provided in the OFG Occupational Therapy Ways of Working. This will guide your practice within an education setting and clarify your roles and responsibilities, while taking into account the requirements of your governing and professional bodies. You will be given responsibility for holding an occupational therapy caseload, with the full support of your designated clinical supervisor and site lead, also contributing to staff training and consultation as required This post would suit a resilient, creative and enthusiastic individual.

Essential Criteria:   

• Recognised Occupational Therapy degree 
• Valid and up to date HCPC Registration 
• Registered member of RCOT 
• Relevant experience in providing occupational therapy services within a similar setting is preferrable
• Previously engaged with people who are neurodivergent and/or experience learning difficulty and/or socio-emotional and mental health difficulties in any setting, being able to evidence transferrable skills
• Sound knowledge and clinical understanding of OT theory and its practical application to support independence

• Clear and concise report writing skills

What you'll do:
Lead Generation & Prospecting : Leading the team to Identify and pursue new business opportunities by researching potential clients, industries, and markets.
Moving at Pace: The ability to multitask at pace, identify quick wins within the prospect base, qualify and close.
Accountability: Forecasting in this role is of vital importance, you will be expected to deliver a commitment for the team and play a pivotal role in driving sales to close.
Sales & Revenue Growth : Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets, working closely with the wider business, providing feedback from customers and team, ensuring we are providing the right services and solutions to Mid Market customers.
Proposal & Contract Negotiation : Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and contracts that align with client needs and company goals.
Reporting: Track and report on key business development activities, prospecting, sales cycle, and performance metrics.
Team Leader Skills: Ability to manager a team and their performance. Define clear KPI's. Ensure expectations and objectives are set and understood. Be high motivated and motivate others, providing guidance and encouragement. Ensure team members take responsibility of their tasks.
Resilience : Adjust strategies when needed, encourage creative problem solving.

What you'll bring:

• A track record of delivering high volume new business telecoms deals into Mid-Market business's
• Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Highly motivated with a results-oriented mindset.
• Proficiency in CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), Microsoft Office Suite, and other business development tools.

Exciting news for our newest recruits! If you start your journey with us between August 4th and August 22nd, you'll kick off your training and initial deliveries from our Dordon site. But mark your calendars, because by August 25th, all training and deliveries will transition to our brand-new Nottingham site!

So, what do we need from you?

You don't need any previous experience to join our league, just bring your awesome self and a positive attitude! Our incredible training team will equip you with all the skills you need to become a Local Legend.

However, it goes without saying you will need some essentials…

• Full UK or EU driving licence.
• Minimum of 6 months driving experience (although 12 months driving experience is desirable!).
• Maximum of 6 penalty points.
• No driving disqualifications in the past 5 years.

Some deliveries involve the handling of alcohol products, so you must be over 18 to apply.

As this is a customer-facing role, good communication skills and the ability to deliver joy to our customers goes without saying.

  Contract Type:  Permanent

Contract Hours:  40 hours (including paid breaks)

Contracted days:  You will be required to work any 5 days out of 7 doing 8 hour shifts and will be provided with further information during pre-boarding.

Shifts:  AM & PM. You may start as early as 05:00 in the morning and can finish as late as midnight. Please check your commute time prior to applying. You will receive your shift rota up to 13 weeks in advance.

Pay Structure:  The position is lunar paid. This means you will be paid every 4 weeks according to a monthly schedule. Please take this into consideration when applying.
